Big Brother 13.... lucky number 13...let the games begin! (yeah, baby!!)

Monday, August 15th, 2011. Brenchel is baaack!! So Brendon is back in the Big Brother House.... and poor Lawon is out, of his own volition.. what was Lawon thinking, other than that he might come back into the house after he was evicted, with fancy super-powers, or maybe on the off-chance he might win some money (I think I might leave if I thought something great was going to happen, too! lol!). So, poor Lawon, I feel for the guy. Maybe he got some good exposure on TV, and will get some roles in movies, or something, make it worth his while to have been on Big Brother 13...

So now Rachel is sometimes thrilled to have Brendon back in the Big Brother house, but have you noticed they're back to their old fightin' ways? He seems to get on her, you know? Wonder if he's a perfectionist? They're charming, and lots of fun to live with... hahahahaha! (You'll only be laughing if you've lived with or are currently living with, a perfectionist...! lol!) Who knows how long Rachel and Brendon will remain the Brenchel we've come to know and love.... did you catch that bit on Showtime Big Brother After Dark, right after Brendon was evicted, when Rachel confided in Jordan that Brendon had cheated on her?? Leave him, l'il lady! Screw it, Rachel is a Star, she can get someone who will have a job and not cheat... imagine that combination (although, she will most likely have to move out of Los Angeles to find that good a mix in a man! hahahahahaha!).

The whole Shelley thing is just tooooo bizarre for words, and haven't the houseguests figured out that Shelley is loaded? A quick glance at those diamonds on her fingers should give a fair bit of information away, and with her refusing to tell her housemates any real information about herself, like what kind of car she drives (actually, I would never think to ask what kind of car someone drove.... but I'm not cooped up in a house with a bunch of strangers for the summer, either... also, zero opportunity in me life, right now, to suddenly come into $500,000... boooo! I want $500,000, would be a great check to deposit, right?? lol!)... anyway, I digress (why, that's not like me, at all...), that whole thing with Shelley hiding under Rachel and Brendon when they were in the hammock together, listening in on their private conversation... weird. And all those tears, just from being caught for going back and forth on both sides... whaaat? People can get irritated by back-stabbing? Say it ain't so...! So I don't think Shelley will be able to hang on in the Big Brother house a whole lot longer..

The one I canny stand at all is Daniele... ugh, what a beeee-yotch. And I don't believe that the American public desperately wanted to see bitchy Daniele in a bikini, over Porsche.... although, I canny help but notice Porsche has food in her hand, going quickly to her mouth, each and every time the camera pans over to her, and those sweat pants she looves to wear all the time are really learning how to streeeeetch! lol! Remember when peple used to go on Big Brother, eat a million peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and lose a ton of weight?? hahaha! Well, not Porsche! She's opting with the Seafood diet... she sees the food and eats it... yuff, yuff!

Kalia is harder to read, because she is opening more to Rachel and Brendon, and I'm pretty sure she would go much further in the game if she were to ditch Daniele, since almost everyone in the house is gunning after Daniele, to get her out of the house asap.... and what is with Daniele's use of really brutal imagery? Yuck. she's out for blood? Yick. Seems a little aggressive, no? hahaha! I didn't like that she got the Golden Key right from the start, with her dad, Evil Dick, leaving early... that was too much of a free ride for her... hope they don't do the Golden Key, again, unless you actually earn it, and are not just handed the thing... that's too easy. I like the challenges, it's more like real life, where you 'get to be' faced with all sorts of horrible challenges, each and every day, and see if you can cope.... (okay, that's my own life, showing through, but I'm hoping for a life with challenges that are at least fun, or fer sures have a positive outcome, and waaaay fewer challenges, too... wouldn't that be nice?!)

Adam is a nice fellow, and he does look much, much better without that hideous goatee (you have to be really handsome to pull that goatee look off, AND it needs to be neat and trim.... so adam looks better, and it looks like he's dropping some poundage while he's in the house, too, so he's probably really happy about that. I don't see him scramble very much, though... maybe he's still floating around, hoping not to get in anyone's radar too much... works on many a reality show, to fly under the radar... we'll see how long he lasts...

I like Jordan and Jeff a lot -- I can see why they're so popular, what with generally being kind and nice... and good looking, but they've both won a lot of money on Big Brother, so why would the houseguests wnat them to win even more money? I never understand that, on reality shows. Why not let someone win who really needs the money, who hasn't won, before? I never like to see anyone rich win, either... if you've got a lot, already, that just seems wrong.... but you know what they say, rich people need money, too.... hahahahaha! (Well, I assume people say that...! lol!)

Okay, I've gotta go back to trying some of my own challenges of the summer of 2011.... hopefully things in my own life will be sorted out, soon, and I'll know which house I'll be living in (and what country!), within the next couple of weeks.. wish me luck! And I'll wish you tons of luck, too!! lol!

Thursday, July 21st, 2011...Big Brother 13: Is Cassi just too good looking to stay in the Big Brother House?? lol! So, can you be too pretty for other girls, sooo pretty that they want to vote you out of whatever social game you're playing? Is that what happened to poor, pretty (and she really was a beautiful girl) Cassi? Because she's outta da Big Brother house, tonight... Cassi got da boot! Peas scoot, yer oot. ("You're out", in Scottish! lol!) I liked Cassi, but Cara, my lovely daughter, watched a lot more of the Big Brother After Dark on Showtime than I did, and she said Cassi was pretty bitchy, so not exactly the same kind of pretty I thought she was... but girls really can get pretty mean with each other, when certain jealosies arise. I don't really get that, since personalities become so readily apparent,and I would much rather remove some I didn't like over anyone I thought was pretty... it's fun to look at pretty people! lol! But this season, almost everyone is pretty nice... not a whole lot of drama going on, except with Rachel.

Oh, hey, has anyone else noticed how Rachel is really 'dressing down', this year? What happened to Vegas Rachel?? Where did she go?? Where are all of Vegas Rachel's cute little sparkly outfits? Is Brendon making her dress down? Ugh, hope not. I hate that kind of stuff, when a guy meets a girl who likes to dress provacatively, starts a relationship with her, then wants her to dress like a school marm (okay, you got me, yeeees, that has happened to me... but I needs to wear me mini skirts! hahahaha! My legs get too hot! I canny help it.... so those guys get kicked to da curb... I'll wear whatever I want... lol!) I hope Rachel stands up for herself, too. She used to -- that was what was so great about her in Big Brother 12... she was loud, and funny, and outspoken, and falling madly for Brendon... now that was fun to watch. Where's the Showmance of the season?? That's what I'm tuning in for, for Goodness Sake. I'm just that shallow... and I'll happily take a showmance break-up, too.... anything to liven up the Big Brother house, this summer.... Okay, I've gotta go read the rest of my Bob Dole book I happened to find in the library at our condo complex, the other day... it's really funny. I always liked Bob Dole, and now I'm enjoying reading his book, Great Political Wit... all sorts of wee stories from American politicians through the years.... and I am a real fan of Lincoln, and there are a surprising number of stories about Lincoln, so I really like that! Thursday, July 14th, 2011.... Hey, what's going on with Big Brother?? First, Evil Dick disappears, fairly early on, but I couldn't write about it, because we saw it on Showtime's Big Brother After Dark, and Big Brother 13 didn't even mention it the other night...they merely alluded that someone might have left the Big Brother house... ugh. Annoying. And tonight they had a very pleasant message from Evil Dick, where he looked very calm and relaxed for someone who has just heard about a major personal situation so serious that it removed him from the game.... and then his daughter, Danielle, who really can't stand the guy, was pressured into saying how much she loved her dad (really, why did Julie Chan push the whole 'don't you love your dad' crap, when, clearly, there's no love lost between those two....).

I'm watching Big Brother 13, of course, because I want to see what kind of drama unfolds, but I don't like the whole 'couple up' thing. The couples are annoying. I like every man for himself... makes for better TV. And what is the deal with Rachel and Brendon? Rachel keeps wearing that 'I Love My Hubby' shirt, so are Rachel and Brendon already married? I hope not. He doesn't treat her well, all upset about being called 'bookie'. Bookie. Short for someone who loves to read books?? hahahaha! Stupi would be a better nickname, but, this season, I really don't like Brendon. Not yet, anyway.

What I WOULD like to see on Big Brother 13 'coupledom' is a giant switch-up. I'd like to know whether Jeff and Jordan are really a couple, since I think Rachel would be better off with Jeff, but it kinda looks like Jeff is checkin' Cassi out when no one else is looking -- except for the ever-watchful Big Brother cameras! lol! Ah, what can I say, I'm a little troublemaker, tonight. Canny help meself. I'm trying to make the Big Brother house a whoooole lot more interesting.

Dominic seems like a humorless little sod, so I canny be bothered with him, at all (and sexless, unless he figures out which sex he is most attracted to during the course of the Big Brother tapings.... ), Shelly and Adam are both nice enough, and have studied the Big Brother game, and I figure, if you're gonna devote a chunk of your time to making some money, say, $500,000, you should do a little studying in advance, right? Seems like a wise idea... and Porsche's stories are hilarious, in that she seems to pour her heart out, and no one appears to take any note... and she doesn't appear to notice that, sooooo, another stupi??

Well, that's Keith out, tonight. See ya', Keith. He was nice to look at, but you can't be a player in the Big Brother house... that is not okay. I'm sure we've all known these guys, who flirt with every single girl in the workplace, until everyone's onto them.... ugh. The Big Brother house is just like a workplace... you go in to make some money, might end up with a few good friends, maybe a new spouse... one never knows! lol! But you've always gotta be mindful of your social game...

So now Porsche and Danielle both have a Golden Key... hmmm. I dunno, that seems like a pretty easy ride for Danielle... wonder why that happened? Good that Jordan won the HOH for the week.... Jeff and Jordan, really. I happen to love miniature golf, so I wouldda loooved that challenge :) I think I'd like to own my own mini-golf place.... maybe with a little cafe, so I could serve people all sorts of wee cakes and pies, and whatnot.... just a wee dream of mine (yep, I have a lot of dreams, and one day, hopefully, at least a few of those dreams will come true! )

I like Lewon a lot. He seems like a cheery guy. Kalia looks like she's moved over to the Veteran's side, along with Shelly and Porsche. Adam likes the Veterans, but is still playing with the Newbies..... it's funny when you watch Showtime's Big Brother After Dark, because you wait to see what exactly they're gonna air in the regular Big Brother show.... wonder if we will see any break in the current 'couples', make Big Brother a full-on Summer Drama! hahaha! Thursday, July 8th, 2011.... Big Brother is Back! Yahooo!! We love the drama that is Big Brother! Soo, who are the people playing the Big Brother 13 game, this summer?? Rachel and Brendon are back, part of the new 'Dynamic Duo' deal, for one of the fancy twists in the Big Brother 13 Game.... Rachel was our favourite, last year, in Big Brother 12, but I've gotta say, I did not expect their relationship to last (if indeed it has... oh, TV, how you can play little games with us... lol!). Did you think that was a real engagement ring? Wouldn't the tabloids, or someone, have reported their engagement over this past year? They're celebrity Big Brother people, yo. Will be fun to see, since they let the whole world see everything they're thinking, feeling, doing, saying.... and I loves me an open book! haha!

So the other Big Brother 'couples' from the past are Jeff and Jordan, and the father/daughter duo, Dick and Danielle. Or should I say, Evil Dick?? haha! (Hard for me not to put another wee joke in there, but I'm sure you're thinking it, to, soooo..... what's the point in us both being in the gutter?? hahaha!). And why was Dick (Evil Dick... okay, you got me, I just like saying that...!) the only one to go upstairs? Hmmm.

The rest of the players are a bit of a disappointment, for the single girls in the audience... what, no hotties auditioned? Yick. No one to really attach yourself to, if you know what I mean.... I did get a big kick out of Shelly's unbelieveably low-pitched voice... does she have the manliest voice in the whole Big Brother 13 house? lol! Ruh-roh. And Kalia seems pretty annoyed by Rachel's big breasts, which is a teensy bit hilarious, given that her 'puppies', as Keith so lovingly called them, were just holdin' on by a thread in her own top.... funny what irks one girl against another, so-to-speak ;) And I laughed when Keith took careful note of Kalia's 'puppies', to the camera, then immediately chose Porsche, who already had told us she's had plastic surgery..... so that's how you get on TV! Who knew?? lol!

I love the 25 year old virgin... didn't they make a movie about him?? That's too funny, and Dominic lives with his mom. Who can see these things coming?? haha! Cassi is a very pretty girl, but I can't see what other kind of romantic hookups we're gonna see, this summer, other than the obvious ones... not a lot of choices in the Big Brother house... booo! We loev a budding romance! Or a break-up... whatever... they both make for great Reality TV! So then Lewon... well, I like his personality, and he's from just up the road from where I live... he's from Inglewood, California, and I've spent a lot of time at some great dance clubs in Inglewood... at least he looks like he has a good sense of humor, and some personality.... perhaps a little more personality than Porsche, who hopes to keep her real identity as a VIP Cocktail Waitress a secret, since she doesn't want people to think she is already living the life of Reilly.... no. Wait. She won't know who Reilly is... the easy life. Yup, that's better... oh, Porsche, maybe she's hiding her intelligence, too, and we'll get a better look at her brain, later...you can't show people all your assets all at once, just wear something lowcut, start with the obvious talents, go from there... haha!

That leaves us Adam (hmmm... nice guy, loves Apple Martinis, so that means he's good at talking to women....but looks very manly, soooo, might be around for a while...). Rachel won the very first HOH competition, hanging onto that Big Brother Banana in the sky for dear life... , so that's good that Rachel won the HOH right off the bat. I cannot stand when a player intentionally throws a game.... you know when Shelly almost immediately drops off the banana, says she didn't want to win the first HOH.... ugh. Try and win every time. If only for the treat basket!! hahaha! (I looove Treat Baskets!!)(Or better, yet, a Wine Basket....! lol!)

It'll be interesting to see who Rachel nominates, since the person who wins will get the Big Brother Golden Key, and that will keep them safe from eviction for the first 4 weeks of the competition... that's huuuge. Okay, I've gotta (yes, I've gotta!) go watch Big Brother After Dark.... I wanna see who really likes who else... we're on the look-out for new hookups! hahaha! Big Brother 12.... in case you want to relive some oldie but goodie memories! lol!

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010.... Yippeee, Hayden Won Big Brother 12!! WooHoo! Good for him, he played a great game. One of my favourite 'Hayden Moments' was when he was on the Big Brother After Dark, and he accidentally swore, and immediately apologized to his Grandmother... now that's sweet!! He's a good kid, and he needed the money, so I'm really glad he won :) But I love Lane -- what a sweet guy, too, and I'm pretty sure Britney, who won the America's Choice $25,000, will dump old Nick, go for Lane! I would loove that. I like that sort of romance! Unexpected, a little crazy, lots of fun! lol! And Lane would make a great boyfriend.. he really loves Britney... very sweet. I did want to see Enzo win some money, because what a nice guy, and he has his little family to support... I'm hoping he'll maybe make some money from shows he can go on, or maybe from marketing his Meow Meow shirts :) It's amazing to me that a network can have a person on TV that much, and not pay them a cent. Is that really true?? Hard to believe... there has to be a gain of some sort to make that worthwhile.... and why wouldn't the Third Runner Up get a little somethin' somethin'?? Would be soo reasonable :)

Did you watch the season premier of Survivor, Old vs. Young?? hahaha! Old is 'over 40'... those bassstards!! haha! Will be interesting, to say the least! I looove these Social Games... fun to see everyone's true personality seep out through the edges...

Sunday, September 5th, 2010... Wow, we're almost down to the end... you can tell by the teensy-tiny table they're sitting at! Too funny! How much tinier can it get?? I loove that Hayden won the HOH... yippee, another shot at him winning some money! I want him to have some money, poor kid! He deserves it -- not just because he's such a nice guy, but because he's played a really good game, personally and by winning the games... and did you hear what Lane wouldda spent the $10,000 on if he had won the Luxury Competition, tonight? He squeals, 'do you know how much beer I can buy with that?? And Muscle Milk???'...Ruh-roh, that's not the guy wh needs the money! I'm sure Enzo needs the money for his little family, but Britney ends up winning the $10 Grand, and she's going on a vacation, so that means she hasn't accumulated any bills in her short life, yet, so she may stil live at home, and have her mom to pay all the bills... and that bit about 'I wonder if I'm still engaged [to Nick]' is interesting... poor Lane desperately wants to be the guy she sends a late night text to when(if) things don't work out with Nick, "Hey, what u doin tonite?" hahahaha! I looove those texts! My favorite! Oh, you can see where the cracks are, all right! So now Hayden has put Britney and Lane on the chopping block, so the real fun will start when we see who wins the POV... let da fightin' begin... lol! :) Love and Luck, Ailsa xox

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010... What is Enzo making at the table? It's like Enzo's House of Arts 'n Crafts... is he trying to make a new trophy for the person who wins at pool?? Hilarious! I looove watching him work away, his little tongue stuck out the side of his mouth, like a kitty... maybe that's where Meow Meow cames from! hahaha! So what's happening in the Jury House? Will all hell break loose, now that Matt has revealed his idiotic, horrible, lie about his wife having that disease, and now they all hate him, especially Kathy? I didn't know Kathy had battled cancer for 10 years until Rachel said that, tonight.. man, that's terrible. She seems devastated by Matt's downright despicable lie... not a 'ruse', as Matt might view it, or a secret plan... but on a lighter note, was hiiilarious when Brendon walked into the Jury House, and did you see Rachel gleeful to see him?? hahahaha! Nope! Did you happen to see her leap out of her chair, to hug 'Her Man'??? hahaha! Nope. So is that what true love looks like? Would she have jumped into his arms if he had half a million dollars strapped to his back?? hahaha! Ah, gold diggers, you gotta love 'em! Is that what the fake breasts are for? Like all good miners, they need their tools, and perhaps fake breasts are tools of the trade?? lol!

Did you laugh so hard when Julie Chen asks Lane if he was just 'playing dumb', as a tactic??? hahahaha! Oh, so funny! I like Lane a lot, but that WAS hilarious when he said to Britney he couldn't possibly have had the brain power to manipulate all those people with the Brogade... but I still can't really see who Britney is... if she wa a pageant queen, then that's a whole personality, right there, right? Fake for a living? And didn't Britney accuse Rachel of being fake for a living?? Well, they're both perfect for Hollywood... if you love to lie, cheat, steal, be a faker... you're perfect for this town!! You'll fit right in, no bother(although I'm sure there are some nice, honest people here, too... they're probably at home, right now, minding their own business! lol!)

So now we're down to the Final Four. Wow, that was fast! Did the summer fly by?? Ragan put up a helluva fight before he was voted out, tonight, so that leaves us with Britney, Lane, Hayden and Enzo. Who do you want to win the $500,000.? I would be happy if either Hayden or Enzo win the money, since they both need it, and I just canny tell about Britney. Sometimes I really like her, and sometimes, not-so-much... she plays Lane a LOT, for a girl who is engaged... but I still think Lane and Britney would make a great real couple, outside of the house... and an engagement is just that... time to think it over, before you make a massive commitment (and then the marriage is for thinking about your massive commitment for years and years to come! hahaha! Uh-oh, who's the cynic, now?? Sooowwwwyyy!)

That looked like the worst Christmas, ever, having to place those ornaments on the Christmas Trees through the mesh fence... I hope Hayden wins.. I think my cover is blown on how much I like Hayden! hahaha! He just seems like such a good kid, and he needs the money :) And he hasn't said anything mean about anyone, and I like that. Sunday, August 29th, 2010... The cracks are startin' to show... so now everyone knows that Lane's family is very, very wealthy, so that changes everything, right?? You don't really want someone to win who doesn't seem to need the money... then it sorta becomes a social game, in that you're trying to spread the wealth around.... but doesn't Britney seem to like Lane even more, now that she sees he has a family in the oil business?? Cha-ching! So we will see how long the alliances take to completely blow apart... I'm guessing not very long! But that was hiiilarious when Lane opened the P-Box (Pandora's Box... sounds a little dirty, like a movie they might make out in The Valley... but we won't go there...I mean The Valley... who the helll wants to go out to The Valley?? Other than porn, I mean, MOVIE stars...lol!), and wins $79., $12., and 17 cents! hahahaha! And of course, even though Lane seems incapable of lying, no one in the house believes him when he tells them the story, and ends it with, 'an I only won $91.17!! Can you beeelieve that??? Nope. They can't. Sooowwwwy! Poor guy, now he's screwed. Will be fun to see if he can recover from this 'wealthy discovery'... and that explains why he never wanted to win the HOH, before -- he could easily have been booted out of the game really early on, because people feel very strongly that the person who wins the money should NEED it...human nature...

So now the whole house has to suffer the consequences of Lane opening Pandora's Box, and all for only $91.17... too funny! I love the first 'bad thing', having all their cutlery and glasses taken away. Whatever shall they do?? How will they eat?? Oh, no!! It's a nightmare (are they on Elm Street? I'm not sure of their address...) I love that Enzo, aka Meow Meow, immediately says, that's okay, the Meow Meow can eat out of a bowl like a kitty... omg, he's very adaptable, I'll give you that! haha! Once when I went to Summer Camp (where I learned waaay more than the Bible! lol!), we had one day when we had to use one large utensil, like a ladle or a spatula, all day, for all our nmeals... was soo much fun! Best day, ever!! So that's really funny that on Big Brother this is a punishment! But the second punishment, Cara told me, is that all the house guests have to talk to each other through Hand Puppets. Yes, Hand Puppets. I know what youse is thinkin'... what a clever idea!! And how much did they save by not hiring any writers for the show?? $91.17?? hahahaha! Man, who came up with that one? But, still, I'm looking forward to seeing that, so maybe not such a bad idea, after all... I'm soo quick to judge! haha!

Is it just me, or is Hayden really cute? He is! He was sooo sweet with everyone when they were playing Big Brother Black Jack... Hayden would make a great Game Show Host, don't you think so?? He was very gentle with everyone when they were nowhere near their target goal... ooooh, a little bit too short (the ball is in the yard, nowhere near the box... hahaha!)maybe there's a future there for him... now even I would watch a game show if Hayden were the host!

Did you start watching The Emmy's right after Big Brother, tonight?? Was that the BEST Emmy's, ever?? Man, I loves me some Jimmy Fallon! He's hiiilarious! The opening number with the cast of Glee, Tina Fey, Joel McHale (whom I looove sooo much... we love The Soup!) And Britney scored some screen time on The Emmy's! How cool is that?? She will be sooo excited! But my two favorite parts of the night were when there was a written feed along the bottom of the screen that said, ' George Clooney in 17 minutes'... don't turn us off! Pweeease dinny turn us off! We've got more good looking people coming up, and really, really soon! I loooved that, and I really, truly loved all the attention Temple Grandin got... if you're one of my regular Readers (and I thank you soo much, and hope you never run out a' beer...)(that's my special wish for you, even if it is a little high falutin'...)(is that how you spell, 'high falutin'?? well, clearly I haven't run outta beer! hahaha!), but if you're a regular Reader, you'll know that I am also a Special Ed. teacher, and looove people with Special Needs. I have a very tender spot in my heart for people who need 'that special touch'. So when Temple Grandin got to go up on stage, and every tinme they mentioned her name, she stood up and waved to the audience... well, thats the stuff that makes my heart melt. Thursday, August 26th, 2010... Double Eviction, baby!! That was soo much fun to watch the game go sooo quickly. Vote - Game - HOH - Choppingblock - POV - Backdoor some poor sod - Vote... now that's action packed fun! haha! I loved the HOH game when they had to search through the foam pieces for names... man, I know I wouldda gotten in there, started looking through the all that foam, and wouldda had to stop and think, now what did I come over here for?? hahaha! That's why they choose such young contestants! lol! (really, I think I'm just amusing myself, here, tonight! haha! Oh, and we're trying to use up all our liquor in my giant 1970's bar, too, so that might be contributing to me own gales o' laughter! Hey, isn't that the 11th commandment, if there'd been room to write it, Thou shalt not waste liquor. Maybe it was written on the back, but it's something I feel strongly about, and vow to uphold...lol!) (Some Commandments are easier for me to uphold than others... hahaha!)

Wow, sorry, folks... I thought there was a ton of drama in the Big Brother house, but here, I've just been bombarded with texts and horrible phone messages froma girl I don't even know... b*tches gotta be tamed!! Gotta go, my life feels like it's been turned upside down...

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010... Do you love Hayden? Is it just the hair, or is it the sculpted abs, too? haha! Man, that was the funniest Big Brother Zoo to watch... Hayden had the time of his life, and I loved the part where he is soo excited about wining $5,000, and says that's more than he's earned in the past two years... aaawwwww! So I really like it when people win big amounts of money when they truly need it, and Hayden definitely appears to need the money, plus, I think he would have a lot of fun with it, if he won... and I would like to see Enzo win, too... either of them, but Hayden, first... Enzo really comes across as a decent family man, though, doesn't he? You want him to go home with a bunch of extra money to buy stuff for his little family! I really like Lane, who also seems like a decent guy, and it's tricky to tell if Britney needs the money, or not... and I think Matt (who, up until he landed himself on the block by being such a back-stabber, and general-all-round bad guy, and turns out, NOT a diabolical super-genius... well, he did get the diabolical part right... lol!) is on his way home, as is probably Ragan. Although, no Ragan tears in this episode... is that a first??

You know how the house guests are taling about how much fame they will have when Big Brother is over, and how long it will last, and some of them are discussing what they could market from the show?? hahaha! I loove those chats! I would buy a Meow Meow shirt -- that's funny....but Cara was telling me you can go into eBay and find the stuff that Kristen is already selling, like her Hippie Costume... but how weird is that, to have been on TV, night after night (especially on Big Brother After Dark), then the next thing you know, whammo, you're slammed back into your regular existence. Would be bizarre. Slightly surreal.... and when Ragan and Matt are talking on Big Brother After Dark about the level of fame they will experience in a small town or small city, compared to L.A., or North Hollywood, where Ragan lives... it's funny, the people in the smaller places will live on in memory much longer than anyone in a city, where you just blend back in, with the occasional person recognizing you, but I think people here in Los Angeles are pretty laid back and casual about people they see on TV... does not create too much of a stir, and probably no fancy sandwiches or burgers named after you, like Lane has in his home town.... but I think they'll all have their moment in the sun, and some will stay out here, lapping up the sun for a while, yet, like Hayden, who would do well on a Soap Opera, and Britney is cute enough to do something... Lane and Enzo are just fun to watch, so maybe a duet, there... with or wthout the Penguin suit! haha! Poor Enzo!

So Brendon takes every awful punishment he can take on the Big Brother Zoo game (I loooved the Zoo cages!!), and wins POV for himself, and Britney backdoors Matt... yippeee! See ya, Matt! He shouldn't h'a made that sh*t up about his wife... wonder if that is a real disease? I think he said that isf he won, he would donate to the cause, right? Who cares, Matt doesn't deserve to win... too icky. But is it just me, or is Brendon showing up as a normal person, again? Brendon minus Rachel = a normal guy?? haha! At least he is talking normally around the house, again, and not threatening everyone.. that character flaw I am not a fan of... although some people I know love a bully, I don't, never will...

Oh, and speaking of bullying, did you happen to catch the episode of Dr. Drew covering for Joy Behar on her show, tonight? Man, Dr. Drew is a handsome man!! (Helllloooo! haha!) But he is a very wise man, too, and they happened to be talking about bullying, especially in schools, and since I am a teacher and a mother (some people call me a mother, and they don't even know I have kids.. buh-dum-bum! hahaha!), I am particularly concerned about the extreme lack of action the schools take to deal effectively with bullying. They often will claim to have a Zero Tolerance for bullying, but that's bullsh*t. And I know, the kids at my school are free to bully the teachers... no problem. So who knows what they do to other kids,. Administration often turns a blind eye, as if they just can't stop it. Can you imagine, going into any other work environment, and a co-worker whips an egg at the back of you head, so you tell your boss, and the boss shrugs his shoulders, dismisses it as par for the course? Happened to me, this year. Was horrendous. Made me want to quit teaching, but it's not the profession, and usually it's not the kids, it's the complete hands-off approach of the administration. We need to demand that students and staff are safe from any violence and any slander on school grounds. Parents are the ones with all the power... if you demand that your campus should be a safe environment, then you can bet people in charge will stand up and listen. Get together with your community, make our schools safe zones for everyone. And they wonder why test scores are down (I hate standardized tests, for the record -- they are not an accurate measurement of the child, and I am convinced they are politically motivated, and a massive waste of tax-payer money, student and teacher time, but that's just me... ), when so many kids dread coming to school every day... make school a nicer place, they'll be happy to go, and happy to learn (did you catch that word 'happy'?? lol! That's the secret to good schools and good education. Have you ever learned a thing when you were frightened, hated the teacher, felt unwelcome? Nope. You need to feel comfy, happy, and open to learn... it's rocket science, I tells ya... :)

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010... Uh-oh, who's a got a major hate-on for Enzooo?? That's right, it's Matty! Oh, Matty Matt Matt, you're soo angry, but you still have that little cheshire cat grin... you'd think Meow Meow would appreciate a grin like that... you'd think a couple o' , uuuh, kitties (see how I keep this site clean for youse?? Youse welcome, as Enzo would say.. but not to Matt! hahaha!) would stick together... what about da Brogade?? So Enzo and Hayden are pisssed and running scared, after Matt made them tell him they were planning to vote Matt out and keep Lane safe on the Eviction Block, last week, all the while, of course, knowing he had the Magical Diamond Power of Veto... and is that true that Matt doesn't get to keep that? I thought House Guests who won the POV got to keep the medallion, one of the few keepsakes they can take from the game (other than money! haha!)? I know you're worried about me staying up all night, pondering this, but I have a solution.. Nyquil! Makes you forget ALL youse problems in two easy spoonfuls! lol! But I might spend some time thinking about Matt's painted fingernails... black -- ick!! Always a little on the questionalbe side, when a man paints his fingermails... wonder how much his 'possibly fake' wife with the definitely fake disease likes that? Wonder how much Ragan likes it? A lot, me suspects. And those dreams Matt is having with Hayden with his shirt off -- hilarious! And I looved Lane's take on those special dreams -- he says, if you have dreams like that in Texas, DO NOT tell anyone about them! hahahahaha! Ah, the comedy just keeps going on Big Brother 12!!

Okay, so here's my favourite thing that's goin' down in da Big Brother house, right now... Lane's Love Affair with Britney. At the very least, it's from afar... Lane: I would knock her boyfriend out if I saw her in a bar, and buy her a drink... uh-oh, who's reverting to caveman techniques?? hahaha! And I looved that Lane benched 325 pounds in the yard... did Britney even see that? Man, I love when men do stuff like that! He wants to be called 'The Beast', and is prepared to show exactly why he got that name, and how he plans to maintain it... so if that's how Lane got the name, The Beast, how did Enzo get the name, Meow Meow?? hahahaha! And where did Enzo get that Meow Meow T-shirt? Did he bring it with him, thus has either been called Meow Meow for quite some time, now, or has he always just had a secret desire to be called Meow Meow, and his dreams are finally being realized on Big Brother 12?? hahaha! (I just linked one of the many times I have just mentioned Meow Meow to one of my favourite websites, lolcats... hilarious. That link goes to my personal faves from that site, but you can get to it from there... great whenever you need a wee laugh! I know it got me though some pretty dismal days when I needed a good laugh a while back! A little bit of laughter is a good cure-all for many, many things!)

So now Brendon and Enzo are on the chopping block for the next eviction, and it's a double eviction (duh duh dah daaaa... for dramatic effect -- did you like that?? haha!)... oooh, who will they vote out, next?? The tension, the tension (just like 'The horror, the horror'?? No? Close?? hahaha!)... Okay, I've got a meeting with some Nyquil, so hope youse has a good night, too, and a great week , staying up all night, waiting and watching Big Brother After Dark... and did you happen to take note that Britney is having a bath in the HOH room all by herself, talking to the camera in Big Brother After Dark, but for some reason, it just doesn't hold the appeal that Rachel, and her perhaps newly purchased breasts, had on the camera, so it stays on her for a minute or so, then back to the guys... that's gotta be depressing! haha! Thursday, August 19th, 2010... Hey, you! How you doin'?? (I mean that in the sleaziest way, of course! lol!) So you know the little pretzel note that Rachel left for Brendon? Did you hear what Matt said in Big Brother After Dark? The note apparently said 'I 'heart' you .... MATT', so Matt says, hey, maybe it was a message for meeeee! hahaha! Would have been waaay funnier, but why didn't they show that on the regular Big Brother 12? Maybe they could've sacrificed some of the Ragan's Crying time to put in some comic relief, right? Are you tired of the vast amount of time Ragan spends sobbing? Seems a bit excessive, doesn't it? Is that a 'camera-time' technique? I do love it when Ragan talks out loud to himself, so the cameras can capture his secret thoughts! hahahaha! And speaking of secrets, that was a mean one for the Sabateur, putting the sign under Enzo's pillow, 'I KNOW YOUR SECRET -S'. Ruh-roh! There's hardly a person alive who doesn't have a secret they don't want anyone to know, and no matter what the secret is you're keeping, it's something you must feel will bring damage to your life if it is found out, thereby making it.... a secret, that's right!! lol! But that threw poor Kathy, who had been gliding along soo casually, right onto the chopping block, and WHAMMO, she's gone. She didn't even have time to see it coming, or even to try to garner some votes for herself.. but she looks great, considering she's in her 40's, isn't she? And her son is in his 20's?? Well, she looks great, so we can give her that, and she handled herself with grace when she was so quickly booted out. I wouldda been a little bit pisssed, but then, I'm not on zoloft (oh, dat mean! Where did that come from?? Beer makes people very, very rude!! It's fer sures not me personality! hahahaha!) (Sowwwy, Kaffy!)(It softens the blow if you use baby language.. twy it, shee what happen to youse! lol!)

Okay, so now what happens with The Brigade/Brogade?? Matt throws Devil Horns up when Enzo leaves the room, right after Enzo tries to ensure Matty will be sure to remember to support 'The Brigade' (re: Enzo! lol!) when he gets to the Jury House, so that sends Matt into a languid fury... have you seen Matt get riled up at all? Always with that little smirk, and I still don't like him for that crap made-up story about his wife being so sick... too low for me, even if the guy is funny... so now Britney has won the HOH... she's really coming out of the woodwork, and she's the only female left in the Big Brother House... who saw that coming?? Not Monet!! haha! I bet she's pisssed!! I would imagine all the girls thought they were smarter than Britney, but Britney plays a good social game.. and speaking of her 'social game', what was that about, sitting on Lane when he was doing push-ups?? hahahahaha! Another showmance, or something from before?? Is Lane Britney's real fiance?? haha! Is that even true, the whole 'two people in the house are lifelong friends?? Who knows... could have just been Annie, the first sabateur, who said that, but I thought Julie Chen had said it, too.. who can remember (beer is also bad for youse memory... you should give your extra beer to me, so I can save you from the ravages of da beer... see how I am only looking out for your health and welfare? Could I beee any more kind? More kinder? I don't know, I'll have to ask Kathy, the resident Grammar expert...)

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010... She's baaack! So Rachel's back in the Big Brother House for 24 hours, and what a charmer! Man, does she make people want to just flock to her! I think she just read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People... oh, wait, that was ME who just read that... me thinkin' dat Rachel might have missed that book! hahahaha! What was with all the fighting with Ragan?? Seemed excessive, didn't it? Like a bulldozer, but more forceful? What was the purpose for that? Do you think she was asked by Big Brother to go back in the house and cause such a giant fuss? (I full o' questions, tonight!! haha!) But I loved Ragan's response to her, saying, 'this is a game of how you treat other people'... and that's basically what the Dale Carnegie book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, is about, too. Man, I loved that book! I want to teach it, now -- maybe someone will let me design a course around it.... would be soo great for our high school students, but would be great for anyone, like Rachel, who might like to learn a few more skills about how to get along with people.... hmmm, seems like a good idea! lol!

Aaawwww, that was such a shame when Brendon opened Pandora's Box (I love that Matt calls it P-Box, like it's a rapper! haha!), and Brendon's whisked away to a gorgeous mansion in Malibu, shouting and searching for Rachel (a little reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, except for they're waaaay waaay too old! hahaha...And their parents probably don't care all that much about whether they date each other...lol!), meanwhile, Rachel comes barrelling in the house, "I'm back, biiitches!!", which I thought was really funny...then she goes on a frantic search for her somewhat beloved Brendon, shouting his name all through the house, desperately trying to find him (I also found that funny, so read what you will into my slightly deranged sense of humour! haha!)... ah, True Love, during the taping of a show. How many weeks is that?? Yes, another long-term relationship, foiled by The Man, or in this case, by Big Brother :)

So Ragan made it past this POV vote, so he gets to keep the $20,000! Yippee! Good for him! But what happens if Hayden is able to prove that Ragan was the sabateur?? What then, me wonders?? Instantly vote out Ragan? Who knows in the game of Big Brother! And I loved that the Brigade is slowing disintegrating, when Enzo says, 'Matty might have to be sized up for some cement shoes'! hahaha! Oh, Enzo, I like you, again... and Lane has demoted Matt from a brother to a step-brother, which only makes you think of the movie, Step-Brother, which was hilarious... and hard to believe there are only two women left in the game. Does that really mean that men might be better game players than the women?? Say it ain't so!

Okay, I better get to bed... but I want to finish reading this great novel I started the other day, Water for Elephants... what a great book! No wonder Reese Witherspoon wants to star in the movie version of the book... I think she would be Marlena, no doubt... now I want to see the movie, too... oh, and we went to see Eat Pray Love on the weekend... ugh. Canny say I was a fan. Julia Roberts is sooo skinny, that I found that really irritating by the end... and the story of why Richard, the character I liked best in the book, tells about how he almost ran over his son, and he was at the ashram to forgive himself... they lost me on that one. No, go on home and beg for the forgiveness of the child and the mother (I don't remember that scene in the book -- was that added in for effect? I hope it isn't a true story, since that's a terrible, terrible story, with nothing redeeming about it) ... I wanted to like it, and Julia Roberts has a stunningly beautiful face, it just got to me, in the end, that after being in Italy, enjoying the Eat Eat Eat section (and I had envisioned the main character as being a bit plump to begin with, for some reason, not waif thin), and then when they said that her new lover in Bali, Mr. Gorgeous, had been celibate for 10 years... well.... come on, now. Thursday, August 12th, 2010... Yippee, Rachel's out! You know, I really liked her for a long time, until all that loud whining really started to get to me, and after she went after Kathy to get that dammm apology for Kathy being excited when she legitimately won... well, that's where Rachel lost me. But did you catch the whole thing with Julie Chen, when she was talking to Rachel on the couch after Rachel was evicted from the Big Brother House? The thing about Rachel maybe coming back?? Hmmm.... wonders never cease! And she left soo many friends behind, too... lol! I don't get that -- you go into the Big Brother House, knowing it's a personality game more than anything, since the competitions can be good for small people, large people, smart people, even neanderthals... pardon me, neander-talls (which is what Ragan and Britney are now calling Brendon in the house on Big Brother After Dark... ah, dammmit, I just checked my Oxford Dictionary, and it IS pronounced that way ... ugh! I dinny care... I like it better the other way, with the 'TH'... so I will continue to say 'neanderTHal! lol!)... anyway, since you should know to play a good personality game, why did Rachel derail herself by being such an annoyance in the house? Makes no sense. Luckily, Brendon (AKA: Mr. Neander-tall) is clever enough to play a very lovely game , and has not become ludicrously destructive toward everyone... in the name of vengeance, which always works out, by the way, in case you were just thinking up a little scheme of vengeance of your own... vengeance rarely backfires, so go ahead -- Brendon is! hahaha!).

I'm lovin' the Brigade... man, they're just floating along, having a great time... but that seems a little too easy, right?? And did you see the particularly warm hug Britney gave Lane from behind?? hahaha! Yep, that's what I do at work, too... it's not nearly as inappropriate as you might initially think! haha! Can you imagine, standing at a counter, minding your own business, and a co-worker, which is basically what the House Guests are -- came over and gave you a giant bear hug from behind??? hahahaha! Aaah, that kills me! There's more to that story, baby! There's only a tiny handful of people in the whole world you either want to hug from behind, or GET to hug from behind... and the chances are really high youse co-workers are not on that list! hahaha!
