Big Brother 13.... lucky number 13...let the games begin! (yeah, baby!!)

Monday, August 15th, 2011. Brenchel is baaack!! So Brendon is back in the Big Brother House.... and poor Lawon is out, of his own volition.. what was Lawon thinking, other than that he might come back into the house after he was evicted, with fancy super-powers, or maybe on the off-chance he might win some money (I think I might leave if I thought something great was going to happen, too! lol!). So, poor Lawon, I feel for the guy. Maybe he got some good exposure on TV, and will get some roles in movies, or something, make it worth his while to have been on Big Brother 13...

So now Rachel is sometimes thrilled to have Brendon back in the Big Brother house, but have you noticed they're back to their old fightin' ways? He seems to get on her, you know? Wonder if he's a perfectionist? They're charming, and lots of fun to live with... hahahahaha! (You'll only be laughing if you've lived with or are currently living with, a perfectionist...! lol!) Who knows how long Rachel and Brendon will remain the Brenchel we've come to know and love.... did you catch that bit on Showtime Big Brother After Dark, right after Brendon was evicted, when Rachel confided in Jordan that Brendon had cheated on her?? Leave him, l'il lady! Screw it, Rachel is a Star, she can get someone who will have a job and not cheat... imagine that combination (although, she will most likely have to move out of Los Angeles to find that good a mix in a man! hahahahahaha!).

The whole Shelley thing is just tooooo bizarre for words, and haven't the houseguests figured out that Shelley is loaded? A quick glance at those diamonds on her fingers should give a fair bit of information away, and with her refusing to tell her housemates any real information about herself, like what kind of car she drives (actually, I would never think to ask what kind of car someone drove.... but I'm not cooped up in a house with a bunch of strangers for the summer, either... also, zero opportunity in me life, right now, to suddenly come into $500,000... boooo! I want $500,000, would be a great check to deposit, right?? lol!)... anyway, I digress (why, that's not like me, at all...), that whole thing with Shelley hiding under Rachel and Brendon when they were in the hammock together, listening in on their private conversation... weird. And all those tears, just from being caught for going back and forth on both sides... whaaat? People can get irritated by back-stabbing? Say it ain't so...! So I don't think Shelley will be able to hang on in the Big Brother house a whole lot longer..

The one I canny stand at all is Daniele... ugh, what a beeee-yotch. And I don't believe that the American public desperately wanted to see bitchy Daniele in a bikini, over Porsche.... although, I canny help but notice Porsche has food in her hand, going quickly to her mouth, each and every time the camera pans over to her, and those sweat pants she looves to wear all the time are really learning how to streeeeetch! lol! Remember when peple used to go on Big Brother, eat a million peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and lose a ton of weight?? hahaha! Well, not Porsche! She's opting with the Seafood diet... she sees the food and eats it... yuff, yuff!

Kalia is harder to read, because she is opening more to Rachel and Brendon, and I'm pretty sure she would go much further in the game if she were to ditch Daniele, since almost everyone in the house is gunning after Daniele, to get her out of the house asap.... and what is with Daniele's use of really brutal imagery? Yuck. she's out for blood? Yick. Seems a little aggressive, no? hahaha! I didn't like that she got the Golden Key right from the start, with her dad, Evil Dick, leaving early... that was too much of a free ride for her... hope they don't do the Golden Key, again, unless you actually earn it, and are not just handed the thing... that's too easy. I like the challenges, it's more like real life, where you 'get to be' faced with all sorts of horrible challenges, each and every day, and see if you can cope.... (okay, that's my own life, showing through, but I'm hoping for a life with challenges that are at least fun, or fer sures have a positive outcome, and waaaay fewer challenges, too... wouldn't that be nice?!)

Adam is a nice fellow, and he does look much, much better without that hideous goatee (you have to be really handsome to pull that goatee look off, AND it needs to be neat and trim.... so adam looks better, and it looks like he's dropping some poundage while he's in the house, too, so he's probably really happy about that. I don't see him scramble very much, though... maybe he's still floating around, hoping not to get in anyone's radar too much... works on many a reality show, to fly under the radar... we'll see how long he lasts...

I like Jordan and Jeff a lot -- I can see why they're so popular, what with generally being kind and nice... and good looking, but they've both won a lot of money on Big Brother, so why would the houseguests wnat them to win even more money? I never understand that, on reality shows. Why not let someone win who really needs the money, who hasn't won, before? I never like to see anyone rich win, either... if you've got a lot, already, that just seems wrong.... but you know what they say, rich people need money, too.... hahahahaha! (Well, I assume people say that...! lol!)

Okay, I've gotta go back to trying some of my own challenges of the summer of 2011.... hopefully things in my own life will be sorted out, soon, and I'll know which house I'll be living in (and what country!), within the next couple of weeks.. wish me luck! And I'll wish you tons of luck, too!! lol!

Thursday, July 21st, 2011...Big Brother 13: Is Cassi just too good looking to stay in the Big Brother House?? lol! So, can you be too pretty for other girls, sooo pretty that they want to vote you out of whatever social game you're playing? Is that what happened to poor, pretty (and she really was a beautiful girl) Cassi? Because she's outta da Big Brother house, tonight... Cassi got da boot! Peas scoot, yer oot. ("You're out", in Scottish! lol!) I liked Cassi, but Cara, my lovely daughter, watched a lot more of the Big Brother After Dark on Showtime than I did, and she said Cassi was pretty bitchy, so not exactly the same kind of pretty I thought she was... but girls really can get pretty mean with each other, when certain jealosies arise. I don't really get that, since personalities become so readily apparent,and I would much rather remove some I didn't like over anyone I thought was pretty... it's fun to look at pretty people! lol! But this season, almost everyone is pretty nice... not a whole lot of drama going on, except with Rachel.

Oh, hey, has anyone else noticed how Rachel is really 'dressing down', this year? What happened to Vegas Rachel?? Where did she go?? Where are all of Vegas Rachel's cute little sparkly outfits? Is Brendon making her dress down? Ugh, hope not. I hate that kind of stuff, when a guy meets a girl who likes to dress provacatively, starts a relationship with her, then wants her to dress like a school marm (okay, you got me, yeeees, that has happened to me... but I needs to wear me mini skirts! hahahaha! My legs get too hot! I canny help it.... so those guys get kicked to da curb... I'll wear whatever I want... lol!) I hope Rachel stands up for herself, too. She used to -- that was what was so great about her in Big Brother 12... she was loud, and funny, and outspoken, and falling madly for Brendon... now that was fun to watch. Where's the Showmance of the season?? That's what I'm tuning in for, for Goodness Sake. I'm just that shallow... and I'll happily take a showmance break-up, too.... anything to liven up the Big Brother house, this summer.... Okay, I've gotta go read the rest of my Bob Dole book I happened to find in the library at our condo complex, the other day... it's really funny. I always liked Bob Dole, and now I'm enjoying reading his book, Great Political Wit... all sorts of wee stories from American politicians through the years.... and I am a real fan of Lincoln, and there are a surprising number of stories about Lincoln, so I really like that! Thursday, July 14th, 2011.... Hey, what's going on with Big Brother?? First, Evil Dick disappears, fairly early on, but I couldn't write about it, because we saw it on Showtime's Big Brother After Dark, and Big Brother 13 didn't even mention it the other night...they merely alluded that someone might have left the Big Brother house... ugh. Annoying. And tonight they had a very pleasant message from Evil Dick, where he looked very calm and relaxed for someone who has just heard about a major personal situation so serious that it removed him from the game.... and then his daughter, Danielle, who really can't stand the guy, was pressured into saying how much she loved her dad (really, why did Julie Chan push the whole 'don't you love your dad' crap, when, clearly, there's no love lost between those two....).

I'm watching Big Brother 13, of course, because I want to see what kind of drama unfolds, but I don't like the whole 'couple up' thing. The couples are annoying. I like every man for himself... makes for better TV. And what is the deal with Rachel and Brendon? Rachel keeps wearing that 'I Love My Hubby' shirt, so are Rachel and Brendon already married? I hope not. He doesn't treat her well, all upset about being called 'bookie'. Bookie. Short for someone who loves to read books?? hahahaha! Stupi would be a better nickname, but, this season, I really don't like Brendon. Not yet, anyway.

What I WOULD like to see on Big Brother 13 'coupledom' is a giant switch-up. I'd like to know whether Jeff and Jordan are really a couple, since I think Rachel would be better off with Jeff, but it kinda looks like Jeff is checkin' Cassi out when no one else is looking -- except for the ever-watchful Big Brother cameras! lol! Ah, what can I say, I'm a little troublemaker, tonight. Canny help meself. I'm trying to make the Big Brother house a whoooole lot more interesting.

Dominic seems like a humorless little sod, so I canny be bothered with him, at all (and sexless, unless he figures out which sex he is most attracted to during the course of the Big Brother tapings.... ), Shelly and Adam are both nice enough, and have studied the Big Brother game, and I figure, if you're gonna devote a chunk of your time to making some money, say, $500,000, you should do a little studying in advance, right? Seems like a wise idea... and Porsche's stories are hilarious, in that she seems to pour her heart out, and no one appears to take any note... and she doesn't appear to notice that, sooooo, another stupi??

Well, that's Keith out, tonight. See ya', Keith. He was nice to look at, but you can't be a player in the Big Brother house... that is not okay. I'm sure we've all known these guys, who flirt with every single girl in the workplace, until everyone's onto them.... ugh. The Big Brother house is just like a workplace... you go in to make some money, might end up with a few good friends, maybe a new spouse... one never knows! lol! But you've always gotta be mindful of your social game...

So now Porsche and Danielle both have a Golden Key... hmmm. I dunno, that seems like a pretty easy ride for Danielle... wonder why that happened? Good that Jordan won the HOH for the week.... Jeff and Jordan, really. I happen to love miniature golf, so I wouldda loooved that challenge :) I think I'd like to own my own mini-golf place.... maybe with a little cafe, so I could serve people all sorts of wee cakes and pies, and whatnot.... just a wee dream of mine (yep, I have a lot of dreams, and one day, hopefully, at least a few of those dreams will come true! )

I like Lewon a lot. He seems like a cheery guy. Kalia looks like she's moved over to the Veteran's side, along with Shelly and Porsche. Adam likes the Veterans, but is still playing with the Newbies..... it's funny when you watch Showtime's Big Brother After Dark, because you wait to see what exactly they're gonna air in the regular Big Brother show.... wonder if we will see any break in the current 'couples', make Big Brother a full-on Summer Drama! hahaha! Thursday, July 8th, 2011.... Big Brother is Back! Yahooo!! We love the drama that is Big Brother! Soo, who are the people playing the Big Brother 13 game, this summer?? Rachel and Brendon are back, part of the new 'Dynamic Duo' deal, for one of the fancy twists in the Big Brother 13 Game.... Rachel was our favourite, last year, in Big Brother 12, but I've gotta say, I did not expect their relationship to last (if indeed it has... oh, TV, how you can play little games with us... lol!). Did you think that was a real engagement ring? Wouldn't the tabloids, or someone, have reported their engagement over this past year? They're celebrity Big Brother people, yo. Will be fun to see, since they let the whole world see everything they're thinking, feeling, doing, saying.... and I loves me an open book! haha!

So the other Big Brother 'couples' from the past are Jeff and Jordan, and the father/daughter duo, Dick and Danielle. Or should I say, Evil Dick?? haha! (Hard for me not to put another wee joke in there, but I'm sure you're thinking it, to, soooo..... what's the point in us both being in the gutter?? hahaha!). And why was Dick (Evil Dick... okay, you got me, I just like saying that...!) the only one to go upstairs? Hmmm.

The rest of the players are a bit of a disappointment, for the single girls in the audience... what, no hotties auditioned? Yick. No one to really attach yourself to, if you know what I mean.... I did get a big kick out of Shelly's unbelieveably low-pitched voice... does she have the manliest voice in the whole Big Brother 13 house? lol! Ruh-roh. And Kalia seems pretty annoyed by Rachel's big breasts, which is a teensy bit hilarious, given that her 'puppies', as Keith so lovingly called them, were just holdin' on by a thread in her own top.... funny what irks one girl against another, so-to-speak ;) And I laughed when Keith took careful note of Kalia's 'puppies', to the camera, then immediately chose Porsche, who already had told us she's had plastic surgery..... so that's how you get on TV! Who knew?? lol!

I love the 25 year old virgin... didn't they make a movie about him?? That's too funny, and Dominic lives with his mom. Who can see these things coming?? haha! Cassi is a very pretty girl, but I can't see what other kind of romantic hookups we're gonna see, this summer, other than the obvious ones... not a lot of choices in the Big Brother house... booo! We loev a budding romance! Or a break-up... whatever... they both make for great Reality TV! So then Lewon... well, I like his personality, and he's from just up the road from where I live... he's from Inglewood, California, and I've spent a lot of time at some great dance clubs in Inglewood... at least he looks like he has a good sense of humor, and some personality.... perhaps a little more personality than Porsche, who hopes to keep her real identity as a VIP Cocktail Waitress a secret, since she doesn't want people to think she is already living the life of Reilly.... no. Wait. She won't know who Reilly is... the easy life. Yup, that's better... oh, Porsche, maybe she's hiding her intelligence, too, and we'll get a better look at her brain, later...you can't show people all your assets all at once, just wear something lowcut, start with the obvious talents, go from there... haha!

That leaves us Adam (hmmm... nice guy, loves Apple Martinis, so that means he's good at talking to women....but looks very manly, soooo, might be around for a while...). Rachel won the very first HOH competition, hanging onto that Big Brother Banana in the sky for dear life... , so that's good that Rachel won the HOH right off the bat. I cannot stand when a player intentionally throws a game.... you know when Shelly almost immediately drops off the banana, says she didn't want to win the first HOH.... ugh. Try and win every time. If only for the treat basket!! hahaha! (I looove Treat Baskets!!)(Or better, yet, a Wine Basket....! lol!)

It'll be interesting to see who Rachel nominates, since the person who wins will get the Big Brother Golden Key, and that will keep them safe from eviction for the first 4 weeks of the competition... that's huuuge. Okay, I've gotta (yes, I've gotta!) go watch Big Brother After Dark.... I wanna see who really likes who else... we're on the look-out for new hookups! hahaha! Big Brother 12.... in case you want to relive some oldie but goodie memories! lol!

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010.... Yippeee, Hayden Won Big Brother 12!! WooHoo! Good for him, he played a great game. One of my favourite 'Hayden Moments' was when he was on the Big Brother After Dark, and he accidentally swore, and immediately apologized to his Grandmother... now that's sweet!! He's a good kid, and he needed the money, so I'm really glad he won :) But I love Lane -- what a sweet guy, too, and I'm pretty sure Britney, who won the America's Choice $25,000, will dump old Nick, go for Lane! I would loove that. I like that sort of romance! Unexpected, a little crazy, lots of fun! lol! And Lane would make a great boyfriend.. he really loves Britney... very sweet. I did want to see Enzo win some money, because what a nice guy, and he has his little family to support... I'm hoping he'll maybe make some money from shows he can go on, or maybe from marketing his Meow Meow shirts :) It's amazing to me that a network can have a person on TV that much, and not pay them a cent. Is that really true?? Hard to believe... there has to be a gain of some sort to make that worthwhile.... and why wouldn't the Third Runner Up get a little somethin' somethin'?? Would be soo reasonable :)

Did you watch the season premier of Survivor, Old vs. Young?? hahaha! Old is 'over 40'... those bassstards!! haha! Will be interesting, to say the least! I looove these Social Games... fun to see everyone's true personality seep out through the edges...

Sunday, September 5th, 2010... Wow, we're almost down to the end... you can tell by the teensy-tiny table they're sitting at! Too funny! How much tinier can it get?? I loove that Hayden won the HOH... yippee, another shot at him winning some money! I want him to have some money, poor kid! He deserves it -- not just because he's such a nice guy, but because he's played a really good game, personally and by winning the games... and did you hear what Lane wouldda spent the $10,000 on if he had won the Luxury Competition, tonight? He squeals, 'do you know how much beer I can buy with that?? And Muscle Milk???'...Ruh-roh, that's not the guy wh needs the money! I'm sure Enzo needs the money for his little family, but Britney ends up winning the $10 Grand, and she's going on a vacation, so that means she hasn't accumulated any bills in her short life, yet, so she may stil live at home, and have her mom to pay all the bills... and that bit about 'I wonder if I'm still engaged [to Nick]' is interesting... poor Lane desperately wants to be the guy she sends a late night text to when(if) things don't work out with Nick, "Hey, what u doin tonite?" hahahaha! I looove those texts! My favorite! Oh, you can see where the cracks are, all right! So now Hayden has put Britney and Lane on the chopping block, so the real fun will start when we see who wins the POV... let da fightin' begin... lol! :) Love and Luck, Ailsa xox

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010... What is Enzo making at the table? It's like Enzo's House of Arts 'n Crafts... is he trying to make a new trophy for the person who wins at pool?? Hilarious! I looove watching him work away, his little tongue stuck out the side of his mouth, like a kitty... maybe that's where Meow Meow cames from! hahaha! So what's happening in the Jury House? Will all hell break loose, now that Matt has revealed his idiotic, horrible, lie about his wife having that disease, and now they all hate him, especially Kathy? I didn't know Kathy had battled cancer for 10 years until Rachel said that, tonight.. man, that's terrible. She seems devastated by Matt's downright despicable lie... not a 'ruse', as Matt might view it, or a secret plan... but on a lighter note, was hiiilarious when Brendon walked into the Jury House, and did you see Rachel gleeful to see him?? hahahaha! Nope! Did you happen to see her leap out of her chair, to hug 'Her Man'??? hahaha! Nope. So is that what true love looks like? Would she have jumped into his arms if he had half a million dollars strapped to his back?? hahaha! Ah, gold diggers, you gotta love 'em! Is that what the fake breasts are for? Like all good miners, they need their tools, and perhaps fake breasts are tools of the trade?? lol!

Did you laugh so hard when Julie Chen asks Lane if he was just 'playing dumb', as a tactic??? hahahaha! Oh, so funny! I like Lane a lot, but that WAS hilarious when he said to Britney he couldn't possibly have had the brain power to manipulate all those people with the Brogade... but I still can't really see who Britney is... if she wa a pageant queen, then that's a whole personality, right there, right? Fake for a living? And didn't Britney accuse Rachel of being fake for a living?? Well, they're both perfect for Hollywood... if you love to lie, cheat, steal, be a faker... you're perfect for this town!! You'll fit right in, no bother(although I'm sure there are some nice, honest people here, too... they're probably at home, right now, minding their own business! lol!)

So now we're down to the Final Four. Wow, that was fast! Did the summer fly by?? Ragan put up a helluva fight before he was voted out, tonight, so that leaves us with Britney, Lane, Hayden and Enzo. Who do you want to win the $500,000.? I would be happy if either Hayden or Enzo win the money, since they both need it, and I just canny tell about Britney. Sometimes I really like her, and sometimes, not-so-much... she plays Lane a LOT, for a girl who is engaged... but I still think Lane and Britney would make a great real couple, outside of the house... and an engagement is just that... time to think it over, before you make a massive commitment (and then the marriage is for thinking about your massive commitment for years and years to come! hahaha! Uh-oh, who's the cynic, now?? Sooowwwwyyy!)

That looked like the worst Christmas, ever, having to place those ornaments on the Christmas Trees through the mesh fence... I hope Hayden wins.. I think my cover is blown on how much I like Hayden! hahaha! He just seems like such a good kid, and he needs the money :) And he hasn't said anything mean about anyone, and I like that. Sunday, August 29th, 2010... The cracks are startin' to show... so now everyone knows that Lane's family is very, very wealthy, so that changes everything, right?? You don't really want someone to win who doesn't seem to need the money... then it sorta becomes a social game, in that you're trying to spread the wealth around.... but doesn't Britney seem to like Lane even more, now that she sees he has a family in the oil business?? Cha-ching! So we will see how long the alliances take to completely blow apart... I'm guessing not very long! But that was hiiilarious when Lane opened the P-Box (Pandora's Box... sounds a little dirty, like a movie they might make out in The Valley... but we won't go there...I mean The Valley... who the helll wants to go out to The Valley?? Other than porn, I mean, MOVIE stars...lol!), and wins $79., $12., and 17 cents! hahahaha! And of course, even though Lane seems incapable of lying, no one in the house believes him when he tells them the story, and ends it with, 'an I only won $91.17!! Can you beeelieve that??? Nope. They can't. Sooowwwwy! Poor guy, now he's screwed. Will be fun to see if he can recover from this 'wealthy discovery'... and that explains why he never wanted to win the HOH, before -- he could easily have been booted out of the game really early on, because people feel very strongly that the person who wins the money should NEED it...human nature...

So now the whole house has to suffer the consequences of Lane opening Pandora's Box, and all for only $91.17... too funny! I love the first 'bad thing', having all their cutlery and glasses taken away. Whatever shall they do?? How will they eat?? Oh, no!! It's a nightmare (are they on Elm Street? I'm not sure of their address...) I love that Enzo, aka Meow Meow, immediately says, that's okay, the Meow Meow can eat out of a bowl like a kitty... omg, he's very adaptable, I'll give you that! haha! Once when I went to Summer Camp (where I learned waaay more than the Bible! lol!), we had one day when we had to use one large utensil, like a ladle or a spatula, all day, for all our nmeals... was soo much fun! Best day, ever!! So that's really funny that on Big Brother this is a punishment! But the second punishment, Cara told me, is that all the house guests have to talk to each other through Hand Puppets. Yes, Hand Puppets. I know what youse is thinkin'... what a clever idea!! And how much did they save by not hiring any writers for the show?? $91.17?? hahahaha! Man, who came up with that one? But, still, I'm looking forward to seeing that, so maybe not such a bad idea, after all... I'm soo quick to judge! haha!

Is it just me, or is Hayden really cute? He is! He was sooo sweet with everyone when they were playing Big Brother Black Jack... Hayden would make a great Game Show Host, don't you think so?? He was very gentle with everyone when they were nowhere near their target goal... ooooh, a little bit too short (the ball is in the yard, nowhere near the box... hahaha!)maybe there's a future there for him... now even I would watch a game show if Hayden were the host!

Did you start watching The Emmy's right after Big Brother, tonight?? Was that the BEST Emmy's, ever?? Man, I loves me some Jimmy Fallon! He's hiiilarious! The opening number with the cast of Glee, Tina Fey, Joel McHale (whom I looove sooo much... we love The Soup!) And Britney scored some screen time on The Emmy's! How cool is that?? She will be sooo excited! But my two favorite parts of the night were when there was a written feed along the bottom of the screen that said, ' George Clooney in 17 minutes'... don't turn us off! Pweeease dinny turn us off! We've got more good looking people coming up, and really, really soon! I loooved that, and I really, truly loved all the attention Temple Grandin got... if you're one of my regular Readers (and I thank you soo much, and hope you never run out a' beer...)(that's my special wish for you, even if it is a little high falutin'...)(is that how you spell, 'high falutin'?? well, clearly I haven't run outta beer! hahaha!), but if you're a regular Reader, you'll know that I am also a Special Ed. teacher, and looove people with Special Needs. I have a very tender spot in my heart for people who need 'that special touch'. So when Temple Grandin got to go up on stage, and every tinme they mentioned her name, she stood up and waved to the audience... well, thats the stuff that makes my heart melt. Thursday, August 26th, 2010... Double Eviction, baby!! That was soo much fun to watch the game go sooo quickly. Vote - Game - HOH - Choppingblock - POV - Backdoor some poor sod - Vote... now that's action packed fun! haha! I loved the HOH game when they had to search through the foam pieces for names... man, I know I wouldda gotten in there, started looking through the all that foam, and wouldda had to stop and think, now what did I come over here for?? hahaha! That's why they choose such young contestants! lol! (really, I think I'm just amusing myself, here, tonight! haha! Oh, and we're trying to use up all our liquor in my giant 1970's bar, too, so that might be contributing to me own gales o' laughter! Hey, isn't that the 11th commandment, if there'd been room to write it, Thou shalt not waste liquor. Maybe it was written on the back, but it's something I feel strongly about, and vow to uphold...lol!) (Some Commandments are easier for me to uphold than others... hahaha!)

Wow, sorry, folks... I thought there was a ton of drama in the Big Brother house, but here, I've just been bombarded with texts and horrible phone messages froma girl I don't even know... b*tches gotta be tamed!! Gotta go, my life feels like it's been turned upside down...

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010... Do you love Hayden? Is it just the hair, or is it the sculpted abs, too? haha! Man, that was the funniest Big Brother Zoo to watch... Hayden had the time of his life, and I loved the part where he is soo excited about wining $5,000, and says that's more than he's earned in the past two years... aaawwwww! So I really like it when people win big amounts of money when they truly need it, and Hayden definitely appears to need the money, plus, I think he would have a lot of fun with it, if he won... and I would like to see Enzo win, too... either of them, but Hayden, first... Enzo really comes across as a decent family man, though, doesn't he? You want him to go home with a bunch of extra money to buy stuff for his little family! I really like Lane, who also seems like a decent guy, and it's tricky to tell if Britney needs the money, or not... and I think Matt (who, up until he landed himself on the block by being such a back-stabber, and general-all-round bad guy, and turns out, NOT a diabolical super-genius... well, he did get the diabolical part right... lol!) is on his way home, as is probably Ragan. Although, no Ragan tears in this episode... is that a first??

You know how the house guests are taling about how much fame they will have when Big Brother is over, and how long it will last, and some of them are discussing what they could market from the show?? hahaha! I loove those chats! I would buy a Meow Meow shirt -- that's funny....but Cara was telling me you can go into eBay and find the stuff that Kristen is already selling, like her Hippie Costume... but how weird is that, to have been on TV, night after night (especially on Big Brother After Dark), then the next thing you know, whammo, you're slammed back into your regular existence. Would be bizarre. Slightly surreal.... and when Ragan and Matt are talking on Big Brother After Dark about the level of fame they will experience in a small town or small city, compared to L.A., or North Hollywood, where Ragan lives... it's funny, the people in the smaller places will live on in memory much longer than anyone in a city, where you just blend back in, with the occasional person recognizing you, but I think people here in Los Angeles are pretty laid back and casual about people they see on TV... does not create too much of a stir, and probably no fancy sandwiches or burgers named after you, like Lane has in his home town.... but I think they'll all have their moment in the sun, and some will stay out here, lapping up the sun for a while, yet, like Hayden, who would do well on a Soap Opera, and Britney is cute enough to do something... Lane and Enzo are just fun to watch, so maybe a duet, there... with or wthout the Penguin suit! haha! Poor Enzo!

So Brendon takes every awful punishment he can take on the Big Brother Zoo game (I loooved the Zoo cages!!), and wins POV for himself, and Britney backdoors Matt... yippeee! See ya, Matt! He shouldn't h'a made that sh*t up about his wife... wonder if that is a real disease? I think he said that isf he won, he would donate to the cause, right? Who cares, Matt doesn't deserve to win... too icky. But is it just me, or is Brendon showing up as a normal person, again? Brendon minus Rachel = a normal guy?? haha! At least he is talking normally around the house, again, and not threatening everyone.. that character flaw I am not a fan of... although some people I know love a bully, I don't, never will...

Oh, and speaking of bullying, did you happen to catch the episode of Dr. Drew covering for Joy Behar on her show, tonight? Man, Dr. Drew is a handsome man!! (Helllloooo! haha!) But he is a very wise man, too, and they happened to be talking about bullying, especially in schools, and since I am a teacher and a mother (some people call me a mother, and they don't even know I have kids.. buh-dum-bum! hahaha!), I am particularly concerned about the extreme lack of action the schools take to deal effectively with bullying. They often will claim to have a Zero Tolerance for bullying, but that's bullsh*t. And I know, the kids at my school are free to bully the teachers... no problem. So who knows what they do to other kids,. Administration often turns a blind eye, as if they just can't stop it. Can you imagine, going into any other work environment, and a co-worker whips an egg at the back of you head, so you tell your boss, and the boss shrugs his shoulders, dismisses it as par for the course? Happened to me, this year. Was horrendous. Made me want to quit teaching, but it's not the profession, and usually it's not the kids, it's the complete hands-off approach of the administration. We need to demand that students and staff are safe from any violence and any slander on school grounds. Parents are the ones with all the power... if you demand that your campus should be a safe environment, then you can bet people in charge will stand up and listen. Get together with your community, make our schools safe zones for everyone. And they wonder why test scores are down (I hate standardized tests, for the record -- they are not an accurate measurement of the child, and I am convinced they are politically motivated, and a massive waste of tax-payer money, student and teacher time, but that's just me... ), when so many kids dread coming to school every day... make school a nicer place, they'll be happy to go, and happy to learn (did you catch that word 'happy'?? lol! That's the secret to good schools and good education. Have you ever learned a thing when you were frightened, hated the teacher, felt unwelcome? Nope. You need to feel comfy, happy, and open to learn... it's rocket science, I tells ya... :)

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010... Uh-oh, who's a got a major hate-on for Enzooo?? That's right, it's Matty! Oh, Matty Matt Matt, you're soo angry, but you still have that little cheshire cat grin... you'd think Meow Meow would appreciate a grin like that... you'd think a couple o' , uuuh, kitties (see how I keep this site clean for youse?? Youse welcome, as Enzo would say.. but not to Matt! hahaha!) would stick together... what about da Brogade?? So Enzo and Hayden are pisssed and running scared, after Matt made them tell him they were planning to vote Matt out and keep Lane safe on the Eviction Block, last week, all the while, of course, knowing he had the Magical Diamond Power of Veto... and is that true that Matt doesn't get to keep that? I thought House Guests who won the POV got to keep the medallion, one of the few keepsakes they can take from the game (other than money! haha!)? I know you're worried about me staying up all night, pondering this, but I have a solution.. Nyquil! Makes you forget ALL youse problems in two easy spoonfuls! lol! But I might spend some time thinking about Matt's painted fingernails... black -- ick!! Always a little on the questionalbe side, when a man paints his fingermails... wonder how much his 'possibly fake' wife with the definitely fake disease likes that? Wonder how much Ragan likes it? A lot, me suspects. And those dreams Matt is having with Hayden with his shirt off -- hilarious! And I looved Lane's take on those special dreams -- he says, if you have dreams like that in Texas, DO NOT tell anyone about them! hahahahaha! Ah, the comedy just keeps going on Big Brother 12!!

Okay, so here's my favourite thing that's goin' down in da Big Brother house, right now... Lane's Love Affair with Britney. At the very least, it's from afar... Lane: I would knock her boyfriend out if I saw her in a bar, and buy her a drink... uh-oh, who's reverting to caveman techniques?? hahaha! And I looved that Lane benched 325 pounds in the yard... did Britney even see that? Man, I love when men do stuff like that! He wants to be called 'The Beast', and is prepared to show exactly why he got that name, and how he plans to maintain it... so if that's how Lane got the name, The Beast, how did Enzo get the name, Meow Meow?? hahahaha! And where did Enzo get that Meow Meow T-shirt? Did he bring it with him, thus has either been called Meow Meow for quite some time, now, or has he always just had a secret desire to be called Meow Meow, and his dreams are finally being realized on Big Brother 12?? hahaha! (I just linked one of the many times I have just mentioned Meow Meow to one of my favourite websites, lolcats... hilarious. That link goes to my personal faves from that site, but you can get to it from there... great whenever you need a wee laugh! I know it got me though some pretty dismal days when I needed a good laugh a while back! A little bit of laughter is a good cure-all for many, many things!)

So now Brendon and Enzo are on the chopping block for the next eviction, and it's a double eviction (duh duh dah daaaa... for dramatic effect -- did you like that?? haha!)... oooh, who will they vote out, next?? The tension, the tension (just like 'The horror, the horror'?? No? Close?? hahaha!)... Okay, I've got a meeting with some Nyquil, so hope youse has a good night, too, and a great week , staying up all night, waiting and watching Big Brother After Dark... and did you happen to take note that Britney is having a bath in the HOH room all by herself, talking to the camera in Big Brother After Dark, but for some reason, it just doesn't hold the appeal that Rachel, and her perhaps newly purchased breasts, had on the camera, so it stays on her for a minute or so, then back to the guys... that's gotta be depressing! haha! Thursday, August 19th, 2010... Hey, you! How you doin'?? (I mean that in the sleaziest way, of course! lol!) So you know the little pretzel note that Rachel left for Brendon? Did you hear what Matt said in Big Brother After Dark? The note apparently said 'I 'heart' you .... MATT', so Matt says, hey, maybe it was a message for meeeee! hahaha! Would have been waaay funnier, but why didn't they show that on the regular Big Brother 12? Maybe they could've sacrificed some of the Ragan's Crying time to put in some comic relief, right? Are you tired of the vast amount of time Ragan spends sobbing? Seems a bit excessive, doesn't it? Is that a 'camera-time' technique? I do love it when Ragan talks out loud to himself, so the cameras can capture his secret thoughts! hahahaha! And speaking of secrets, that was a mean one for the Sabateur, putting the sign under Enzo's pillow, 'I KNOW YOUR SECRET -S'. Ruh-roh! There's hardly a person alive who doesn't have a secret they don't want anyone to know, and no matter what the secret is you're keeping, it's something you must feel will bring damage to your life if it is found out, thereby making it.... a secret, that's right!! lol! But that threw poor Kathy, who had been gliding along soo casually, right onto the chopping block, and WHAMMO, she's gone. She didn't even have time to see it coming, or even to try to garner some votes for herself.. but she looks great, considering she's in her 40's, isn't she? And her son is in his 20's?? Well, she looks great, so we can give her that, and she handled herself with grace when she was so quickly booted out. I wouldda been a little bit pisssed, but then, I'm not on zoloft (oh, dat mean! Where did that come from?? Beer makes people very, very rude!! It's fer sures not me personality! hahahaha!) (Sowwwy, Kaffy!)(It softens the blow if you use baby language.. twy it, shee what happen to youse! lol!)

Okay, so now what happens with The Brigade/Brogade?? Matt throws Devil Horns up when Enzo leaves the room, right after Enzo tries to ensure Matty will be sure to remember to support 'The Brigade' (re: Enzo! lol!) when he gets to the Jury House, so that sends Matt into a languid fury... have you seen Matt get riled up at all? Always with that little smirk, and I still don't like him for that crap made-up story about his wife being so sick... too low for me, even if the guy is funny... so now Britney has won the HOH... she's really coming out of the woodwork, and she's the only female left in the Big Brother House... who saw that coming?? Not Monet!! haha! I bet she's pisssed!! I would imagine all the girls thought they were smarter than Britney, but Britney plays a good social game.. and speaking of her 'social game', what was that about, sitting on Lane when he was doing push-ups?? hahahahaha! Another showmance, or something from before?? Is Lane Britney's real fiance?? haha! Is that even true, the whole 'two people in the house are lifelong friends?? Who knows... could have just been Annie, the first sabateur, who said that, but I thought Julie Chen had said it, too.. who can remember (beer is also bad for youse memory... you should give your extra beer to me, so I can save you from the ravages of da beer... see how I am only looking out for your health and welfare? Could I beee any more kind? More kinder? I don't know, I'll have to ask Kathy, the resident Grammar expert...)

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010... She's baaack! So Rachel's back in the Big Brother House for 24 hours, and what a charmer! Man, does she make people want to just flock to her! I think she just read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People... oh, wait, that was ME who just read that... me thinkin' dat Rachel might have missed that book! hahahaha! What was with all the fighting with Ragan?? Seemed excessive, didn't it? Like a bulldozer, but more forceful? What was the purpose for that? Do you think she was asked by Big Brother to go back in the house and cause such a giant fuss? (I full o' questions, tonight!! haha!) But I loved Ragan's response to her, saying, 'this is a game of how you treat other people'... and that's basically what the Dale Carnegie book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, is about, too. Man, I loved that book! I want to teach it, now -- maybe someone will let me design a course around it.... would be soo great for our high school students, but would be great for anyone, like Rachel, who might like to learn a few more skills about how to get along with people.... hmmm, seems like a good idea! lol!

Aaawwww, that was such a shame when Brendon opened Pandora's Box (I love that Matt calls it P-Box, like it's a rapper! haha!), and Brendon's whisked away to a gorgeous mansion in Malibu, shouting and searching for Rachel (a little reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, except for they're waaaay waaay too old! hahaha...And their parents probably don't care all that much about whether they date each other...lol!), meanwhile, Rachel comes barrelling in the house, "I'm back, biiitches!!", which I thought was really funny...then she goes on a frantic search for her somewhat beloved Brendon, shouting his name all through the house, desperately trying to find him (I also found that funny, so read what you will into my slightly deranged sense of humour! haha!)... ah, True Love, during the taping of a show. How many weeks is that?? Yes, another long-term relationship, foiled by The Man, or in this case, by Big Brother :)

So Ragan made it past this POV vote, so he gets to keep the $20,000! Yippee! Good for him! But what happens if Hayden is able to prove that Ragan was the sabateur?? What then, me wonders?? Instantly vote out Ragan? Who knows in the game of Big Brother! And I loved that the Brigade is slowing disintegrating, when Enzo says, 'Matty might have to be sized up for some cement shoes'! hahaha! Oh, Enzo, I like you, again... and Lane has demoted Matt from a brother to a step-brother, which only makes you think of the movie, Step-Brother, which was hilarious... and hard to believe there are only two women left in the game. Does that really mean that men might be better game players than the women?? Say it ain't so!

Okay, I better get to bed... but I want to finish reading this great novel I started the other day, Water for Elephants... what a great book! No wonder Reese Witherspoon wants to star in the movie version of the book... I think she would be Marlena, no doubt... now I want to see the movie, too... oh, and we went to see Eat Pray Love on the weekend... ugh. Canny say I was a fan. Julia Roberts is sooo skinny, that I found that really irritating by the end... and the story of why Richard, the character I liked best in the book, tells about how he almost ran over his son, and he was at the ashram to forgive himself... they lost me on that one. No, go on home and beg for the forgiveness of the child and the mother (I don't remember that scene in the book -- was that added in for effect? I hope it isn't a true story, since that's a terrible, terrible story, with nothing redeeming about it) ... I wanted to like it, and Julia Roberts has a stunningly beautiful face, it just got to me, in the end, that after being in Italy, enjoying the Eat Eat Eat section (and I had envisioned the main character as being a bit plump to begin with, for some reason, not waif thin), and then when they said that her new lover in Bali, Mr. Gorgeous, had been celibate for 10 years... well.... come on, now. Thursday, August 12th, 2010... Yippee, Rachel's out! You know, I really liked her for a long time, until all that loud whining really started to get to me, and after she went after Kathy to get that dammm apology for Kathy being excited when she legitimately won... well, that's where Rachel lost me. But did you catch the whole thing with Julie Chen, when she was talking to Rachel on the couch after Rachel was evicted from the Big Brother House? The thing about Rachel maybe coming back?? Hmmm.... wonders never cease! And she left soo many friends behind, too... lol! I don't get that -- you go into the Big Brother House, knowing it's a personality game more than anything, since the competitions can be good for small people, large people, smart people, even neanderthals... pardon me, neander-talls (which is what Ragan and Britney are now calling Brendon in the house on Big Brother After Dark... ah, dammmit, I just checked my Oxford Dictionary, and it IS pronounced that way ... ugh! I dinny care... I like it better the other way, with the 'TH'... so I will continue to say 'neanderTHal! lol!)... anyway, since you should know to play a good personality game, why did Rachel derail herself by being such an annoyance in the house? Makes no sense. Luckily, Brendon (AKA: Mr. Neander-tall) is clever enough to play a very lovely game , and has not become ludicrously destructive toward everyone... in the name of vengeance, which always works out, by the way, in case you were just thinking up a little scheme of vengeance of your own... vengeance rarely backfires, so go ahead -- Brendon is! hahaha!).

I'm lovin' the Brigade... man, they're just floating along, having a great time... but that seems a little too easy, right?? And did you see the particularly warm hug Britney gave Lane from behind?? hahaha! Yep, that's what I do at work, too... it's not nearly as inappropriate as you might initially think! haha! Can you imagine, standing at a counter, minding your own business, and a co-worker, which is basically what the House Guests are -- came over and gave you a giant bear hug from behind??? hahahaha! Aaah, that kills me! There's more to that story, baby! There's only a tiny handful of people in the whole world you either want to hug from behind, or GET to hug from behind... and the chances are really high youse co-workers are not on that list! hahaha!

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010... Man, what is going on with Rachel, these days?? Who's the Crazy now, me wonders?? Hmmm. And are you completely done with the whole 'chivalry', "I need to be your knight in shining armor' Brendon thing? Ugh. Enough, already... even Rachel is tired of it, although she DID finally say I love you back to Brendon, tonight (game play or true love?? hahahaha! I think you know where I stand on that one! lol!) ... but that tirade against Kathy for Kathy letting out a whoop when she won against Rachel in the POV competition... really, what did Rachel think she should have done, lost the game to save her?? What level of delusion is that?? Why was she soo aggressive in going after Kathy to get an apology -- now I don't like Rachel, any more... and because of the ranting toward Kathy now I like Kathy, more... hmmm, I think I like the underdog (remember Underdog?? Soo cute! they should bring back the original series, see if kids would watch it... kids in their 'middle ages'! hahaha!)

So Ragan's the Sabateur! Yippee, that's who I was hoping for, since he has a good sense of humor, and is playing it off really well, and I loooved the whole 'get in between Brendon and Rachel' plan... devious, but fun. (Are all things devious, fun?? haha!) I hope he's able to make it past his 'sabateur' time period... and is there really no more mention of who the long-time friends are in the house? Don't you think it's Matt and Ragan, now, since Ragan frequently refers to Mattt as his good friend, 'in the house'? He always follows it with that statement... yet they are not such good friends that Ragan is in The Brogade... hmmmm, so highly questionable! lol!

I think Britney and Lane might have another connection (perhaps HE'S her fiance! haha!), but Lane and Enzo are laying pretty low, right now, and even Hayden is pretty low-key, now that Kristen is gone. That Brigade is a good thing to belong to -- I need a Brogade!! Wonder where I can get one! lol!

Thursday, August 5th, 2010... So The Brogade rides again... was it a close call, or was Kristen, the most pleasant of people, who better bring a mop & bucket home with her to clean up the mess she made by having a showmance with Hayden, a truly good guy, on that skeezy boyfriend she left behind (really, a boyfriend of 2 months... and what a jerk! Yick! I don't even want Kristen to be with a guy like that!)... anyway, The Brigade is safely intact, Kristen is gone, and Brendon cannot beeeelieve that Kristen would try to fool him with stories as far-fetched as a guy's alliance in the house, when he's never heard of it... hilarious! Poor Brendon! Have you been watching Big Brother After Dark, and seen the game of 'Trap' they play with Brendon?? Soo funny! They get one person stuck in a room with Brendon, then whisper to the other person, "Trap!", and they are stuck having to talk to Brendon, so lucky for him he scored a showmance, early, and Rachel is still happy enough to talk to him (although, I think she's playin' da guy, but that's just me, I might be waaay off-base! I've only been wrong in me life a few zillion times, so, I'm probably right, this time (I always think that, until I'm proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I'm wrong, yet again! lol!) (That's apparently the only way I learn -- by making mistakes!!) Okay, we'll have to wait to see who gets the giant 'brush off' (did you love the giant paint brush that schmacks them in the face every time they twirl by?? Man, I couldn't watch all the spinning action... and I don't like Ragan as much, any more, after his special interest in Kristen -- maybe she had a secret personality I didn't see! haha! And it's hard to feel really sorry for Kathy with her bout with cancer, then she's outside smoking all the time -- at least make it look like you're trying to quit, right? That's a tricky situation, when someone has actively brought about their own destruction, but I guess you could say that about almost anything, right? Well, maybe she'll try to quit smoking when she gets out of the Big Brother house, and there's less tension in her life... okay, go have lots of fun!! Love and Luck, Ailsa xox

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010... You know what's amazing? That the 'Bro-gade' is still a secret. Is that a purely male thing, to be able to keep a secret like that? Is that how men are able to be cheating bashtards, because they can keep secrets like nobody's business? When you think of all the Secret Societies in the world, and there are many, are the vast majority of them male members only?? There was one 'female secret society' I found out about a couple of years ago, but guess how I found out? Yep, one of the girls told me about it.... it always goes something like this... "Guess whaaat??? I've got a little secret!!! Guess what it is!! Yeah, go on and guess what it is!!! Oh, okay, I'm gonna tell you..." followed in excited little breathes with the entire story of who they're dating they shouldn't be dating, or what God-awful thing they just did, or, in this case, ALL the information about this secret girl group (and you're the only one I'm telling, so you know I can be trusted with a secret, too! lol!).

So here's where I'm going with this.. can it ever be a successful tactic to have a girls against guys scenario in the Big Brother House? Would it even be viable?? How do men put aside personal differences to stick together? Hmmm... I've gotta learn that technique... it seems to work!! Is it just me, or are the girls more likely to go after the other girls, rather than go after the guys? And then there are the romance/showmances that happen almost immediately, then the girl is true to her man before she is true to her girls (on the show, and, let's be real, in real life, too... don't say something bad about her man, or you'll lose your friend, no matter what happened before...), whereas you can see that Hayden puts the Brigade ahead of saving Kristen, but Kristen doesn't even want to fight for her chance to stay in the Big Brother House if it means fighting against Hayden, her new man (uh, doesn't Kristen have a boyfriend on 'the outside'?? haha! Perhaps he doesn't own a TV...)

I canny tell whether Britney is the brains of the operation, or not! hahaha! Good for her to Win the POV and not make any changes on the Eviction Block, so Hayden and Kristen are still on the block... but how mad do you think Hayden will be with Britney for not doing exactly what he wanted? Didn't we just witness this exact same problem with Rachel and Brendon?? Man, does Brendon looove to run Rachel, and guess who's tired of that? Yeah, go on and guess!! Oh, okay, I'm gonna tell you (see how easy it is to spill ANY information?? haha! Anyhooo, I loved it when Rachel did Brendon's bidding, and went down to apologize to Hayden and that beee-yotch Kristen (see how I cleverly disguise my true feelings toward Kristen??), then Rachel reports back to Brendon that she went through with the apology, and when Brendon tells her endlessly that he loves her, Rachel is rolling her eyes? Haha! That's one of the first signs that your relationship's not gonna work out, when you roll your eyes when your significant other says something (and then when they do anything, like breathe, or something equally annoying... lol!) So there's trouble in paradise!! But I did really like when Hayden was stuck in Solitary Confinement for 24 hours, and Kristen was on the other side of the door, and they were making their fingers touch... now that's real love, right there :) Very sweet!

But here's the best thing that happened, today... Prop 8 was overturned, today!! Yipppeee!! LOVE IS LOVE, BABY!!! Finally, basic freedom for all... what a concept, and in America, you say?

Sunday, August 1st, 2010.... So how did you like Bring It On, the Big Brother 12 version?? haha! Bring it! No, why don't YOU Bring IT, Bee-yotch?? Oh, that's right, Rachel was a cheerleader in High School, so it's all working out, and Kristen is the cheeriest of all people, not annoying or stooopid or nuthin'... just a nice, home-grown girl, gentle and sweet to everyone, especially Rachel. Did you laugh so hard when Hayden tells Kristen, 'no more making out for a week'?? haha! Oh, that's great TV! Thank you, Big Brother, for making my summer waaay better!! And I couldn't help but notice that Kristen is in the hait of referring to herself in the third person, always lovely. Totally worked for The Hulk (Hulk Angry!), but does it really work for Kristen (Kristen Angry!! Kristen want to knock Rachel's lights out! Kristen sleepy, Kristen want to go to bed, now! haha!). Oh, Kristen, she's a deep character. A deep thinker? In too deep? It's one of those, I pretty sure! lol!

What's with Kathy, this week, immediately going to Kristen after the girl fight in the middle of the boxing ring after the HOH competition? Oh, Ragan loooved that cat fight -- meow! Where's Meow Meow for that kind of hot cat on cat action?? haha! So why is Kathy trying to buddy up with the girl-most-likely-to-go-home-next-week? Does that mean that Kathy is NOT the female equivalent of Matt, World's Most Diabolical Genius, ever? Isn't there a test, or something, that all police officers have to pass to get to wear a Sherriff's badge?? haha! Maybe you can buy the outfit separately, like Rachel's Hot Cop outfit.... she looked great in that - very sexy! Have you seen on line what kind of life Rachel has led up to the Big Brother section of her life?? Man, is she super-wealthy?? I want someone to win the money who really needs the money, who will have a great time with the money... it's like on Survivor, you would never want a multi-millionaire to win the million bucks, because that's just annoying (although, don't get me wrong, I love lots & lots o' da monies, too, and the more, the merrier, right??), but I would rather see the money go to someone like Ragan, or even Brendon, at this point... but we'll see. Maybe the stories online are not all true... but I canny lose trust in me favorite Internet, can I?? lol!

So Rachel put Kristen and Brendon up for Eviction... wouldn't it be great to be able to put people up for eviction?? Like at work, and you have some complete idiot you have to put up with every day (every effen day, one of my favorite Monty Python jokes, named after the little village of Effen, France... remember that? haha!), but if you had the Power of the Magical Eviction, you could give everyone a key for a new necklace, but not them, make them quake in their boots a wee bit? Would be soo much more fun at work! lol! (really, I'm laughing out loud, thinking about that! Why do we all have to work with soo many annoying people?) But that reminds me of The Other Guys -- looks soo hilarious! I loved Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg on Big Brother, tonight... was so funny! We can't wait to see that movie (we went to see Dinner with Schmucks, today.. was lightly entertaining, and we had 3 hours to kill because it was an 'Open House' day, today -- still no house sale, though -- waaah, waaah! Hopefully, we'll sell our house, soon, so we can get to movin', as they say in L.A. But I did really like the whole taxidermy-mouse thing in the movie... was really funny, and Steve Carrell is always great... but I'm really looking forward to The Other Guys, and Eric Idle is in it, too, and I'm a huuge Monty Python fan, of course... nee, nee!)

Will be good to see what happens on Big Brother After Dark, this week, 'cause doesn't it seem like our little showmances are starting to fray at the seams? What's wrong with me that I like that?? Uh-oh. I thought I might have a slight personality flaw, but who knew this was what it was?? hahahaha! So no nooky for Kristen, says Hayden, and now even Brendon is saying to Rachel to take it down a notch with her 'I'm HOH' thing... what does humble mean? I've been meaning to look that up, but who has that kind of time to understand humility? Not me, fer sures. I'm too busy watching the slow destruction of some Endless Love... lol! Thursday, July 29th, 2010... Yahoo, Rachel won the HOH, again, for the second time... that girl is starting to play her own game, and has anyone really heard her say 'I Love You' to Brendon, when he incessantly says it to her, immediately followed by a million little kisses... can that girl ever get a full sentence out without getting little kisses in the middle?? hahaha! Sooo funny! What if RACHEL's playing Brendon?? Oh, would be soo great! She definitely didn't like that Brendon was keeping the Brendon-Andrew alliance a special secret...

Man, Big Brother loooves the idea of the Sabateur! So now they want to ask a house guest if THEY'LL be the next sabateur, and get $20,000 if they can make it another two weeks... sweet deal, since if they choose the right person, like Ragan, they could pick up the extra $20 Grand, AND still stay in the competition for the $500,000.... or someone like Kathy, who's really skating on thin ice, anyway, and at least she could get a little money before she leaves. I've gotta say, I'm pretty surprised that Big Brother doesn't give each of the laast remaining house guests a chunk of money for making it to a certain day in the house, like they give the cast-aways on Survivor.... then at least they're walking away with a little something for being on TV for the whole summer, entertaining us, right? Seems only fair. Maybe they DO get some money, and I'm just not aware of it.. must Google!!

I'm glad I said I didn't like Andrew, any more, yesterday... what a nut he turned out to be, but a great 'I'm outing you all' speech before the Eviction Vote... that crazy guy! I wonder what was going through Lane's mind when Andrew outed Kristen and Hayden for their showmance, after he was sure they were related... just another shot in the dark, in the headlights?? haha! Man, Lane loves huntin'! In the dark, with just the glow of the headlighs... all very disturbing... and then, after the Eviction Vote and Andrew was booted out by a vote of 8 - 0, Kristen went mad... a sure sign of innocence, right?? lol! Poor little Kristen. and now Hayden will be taken down with her, so he did not look happy about that, not at all...

Well, it's gonna be a fun night for Rachel and Brendon, what with her new bottle o' Tequilla (I call it, 'Tequilla Mockingbird', but that's just me..), and all sorts of lovely treats.. lucky girl! And Cara already told me that Rachel has apologized to Kristen, but Kristen angrily denied her apology, because that girl is not such a smarty (my favorite Kristen line, tonight, now that she is actually speaking in sentences, and not just sleeping the time away, was right after the HOH competition, where she confronts Rachel and says she knows Rachel will put her and Hayden up for eviction, then she follows that with, "I'm not stooopid!" Uh, well, do you ahve any data to back that up?? haha! Poor kid! Delusional and stooopid, dat not a good combo!)... okay, 'til next Sunday! Love and Luck, Ailsa xox

Wednedsday, July 28th, 2010... So Andrew's not so cool-headed, anymore.... who's Mr. Angry? Hey, did you read that he has a 9 year old daughter, and is dating someone? Unless he is a widower (which I hope to God is not the case), how does that fit in with his religion? And wouldn't he have made reference to his daughter, if he does, indeed, have a child? Hmmmm... maybe it's just a rumor. But there have never been any false rumors about the House Guests, before, so how could that happen, and on the most trusted of all sources the Internet Highway? (I used to imagine the Internet Highway as a giant off ramp in Los Angeles, and one I couldn't quite navigate, until I learned which ONE button turned the computer-thing on -- easy, just like learning how to operate a man! hahaha!)

But I don't think Andrew is in my good books, any more.... I really don't like the going off into his room to make weird screamy noises... nope. Does not seem healthy. Swear, throw something down heavily, sure, but a low muffled screamy noise? Too crazy for me... so what's Andrew's connection to Brendon?? Why is Brendon so keen to keep Andrew? Are THESE the two life-long friends?? Is that even true, or was it the Sabateur, that hideous little Annie, who said that? Dang, I canny remember, now, and Big Brother never seems to bring it up, so maybe it was the sabateur who said that, and NOT Julie Chen, after all... in my mind, I thought it was Julie who had raised that scenario of the old friends in the house...

Although, I think it's pretty safe to say that Kristen and Hayden are NOT brother 'n sister, or even cousins, as Lane firmly believes (Kissin' Cousins, maybe... hahaha! Yick!!) And speakin' o' back-home practices, what did you make of Lane's tales of hilarity with the drinkin' 'n shootin' at the eyes in the dark?? Uh-oh. I loved the whole, 'Does Texas HAVE any laws??' haha! I don't know, is cowboy the right word for that?? I always liked cowboys, and they were nothing like that, at all (and , for the most part, they're very good looking, but I like a man in boots and a cowboy hat, probably from all those years in Calgary! lol!)

Hey, are you getting worried about Brendon's back, yet? Every time Rachel sees him, she jumps up on him, like she's a) tiny, and b) 3 years old... well, maybe that's creepy, but can't she greet him with a regular hug? Would be hilarious to see them when they're 90! haha! Brendon all bent over, Rachel still jumping up on him!! lol! (Clearly, that appeals to my sense of humor! haha!)

It must be sooo hard to be a Have Not, and only be able to eat the food on one side of the pantry, when you can clearly see all the other food on the other side. Would be like when you're on a restricted diet, and some bassstard buys a beautiful cheesecake and puts it in the fridge beside your prunes (okay, I'm the bassstard in this story, AND they're my prunes -- I happen to love them both! haha!) (first the cheesecake, then the prunes... see how one takes care of the other?? But I digress into something less fortunate... sowwwy!).... anyway, what I was gonna say is that I was wondering what the punishment was for the Have Nots if they happened to venture over to the Have side of the pantry, and helped themselves? So I asked Cara, and she told me that they can be punished by Big Brother putting them up on the Block, so all of a sudden, I wanted to see that! Wouldn't that be GREAT?! That would be soo much fun to watch the video tapes of Enzo sneaking the burgers a couple of weeks ago while he was a Have Not, which he still is ... I'm not sure why I love to see video of someone doing something they don't think they're being caught for, but I do. Call me depraved, I don't have time to look it up to see what it means... lol!

So that's good that Brendon won the POV (Power of VETO), and left Kathy and Andrew up there on the chopping block ... weird-asss speech from Andrew, though, and very clever sweeter-than-pie speech from Kathy... and since I can't figure out the relationship between Brendon and Andrew, I'm hoping Kathy gets to stay, but I guess we'll just have to wait 'til tomorrow night to see that :) 'Til then, Love and Luck, Ailsa xox

Sunday, July 25th, 2010... Well, welcome to The Matt Show... buckle your seats, 'cause this might be a bumpy ride! haha! That crazy Matt! He's so reasonable, and a DIABOLICAL SUPER GENIUS... and, yes, he did say so, himself! lol! (For the record, I just looked up Genius in the dictionary, my favourite Oxford Dictionary I keep beside my desk, just for times like this, and can you believe it, Matt's picture was NOT THERE. What? That makes no sense. Those people at Oxford are really falling down on the job. And there's not one thing that says that diabolical super geniuseseses are covered in tattoos... life just doesn't make any sense to me, anymore...)

Okay, that's better... I just went and switched my cup of tea for a much more delicious Strawberry Daiquiri... what an odd spelling for that drink... why not make it easier, S.T.D. Or do you think that won't go over very well? Who can tell these things, they're very tricky... :) Let's see where my writing goes, now! haha!

So that naturally brings me to Rachel and Brendon, right?? haha! Those two crazies! If only they would show some sign of affection, so we could see whether they're a couple or not... I think they might be Mennonite... but perhaps that tiny new section of Mennonites that prescribe to that old joke, cleverly changed to suit this show... What does a red-headed 'Chemist/VIP Cocktail Waitress' from Vegas like? Three Men-a-night. Ba-dum-boom. Like that? No?? It's that dammm Strawberry Daiquiri, I tells you... I would NEVER say a terrible joke like that without the curse of delicious alcohol...! lol! Okay, so on with the Rachel and Brendon Love Hour.... did you laugh so hard when they showed Rachel sitting on Brendon's lap (always face forward, I might note... those dirty chemists... you gotta watch out for them! lol!), in the bathroom (!), and Andrew walks in, hoovering?? hahaha! Too funny! and then, whaat, he walks into his own bedroom, and finds the two lovebirds in there, too? Why can't Andrew show a little respect for hidden romance under the sheets by sitting outside his bedroonm for hours and hours and hours, just to give them a little privacy in the Big Brother house?? Oh, wait a minute... there IS no privacy in da Big Brother house!! hahaha! I wonder how many of the Big Brother House Guests have actually read George Orwell's, 1984, the original Big Brother?? Well, Enzo, for sure, because he's clearly a big reader, and probably Britney, 'cause she's in the middle of a My Fair Lady remake with Enzo... I reckon she's tryin' to make him talk good. Talk gooder? Talk sumthin'...lol!

Poor Andrew! And I still really like him... so now Andrew and Kathy are up on the chopping block, up for possible eviction. I guess we'll see what happens at the POV competition on Wednesday night, see who they back-door... I love that phrase... leave it to TV to help give an old phrase a new meaning! haha! Thursday, July 22nd, 2010... Whaaat?? I can't believe Lovely "Rachel's gonna get my fist in her face" Monet has been cast out of the Big Brother house.... what a shocker! And she was soo kind to everyone, especially Rachel (hooker or chemist? Ask Britney! haha! Did you love it when even Britney had had enough of Monet's ranting about what a hooker/stripper/whore/blah, blah, blah Rachel was.. I guess there's just a point when you can't be bothered with someone annoying the crap out of you, anymore, right? And that WAS weird that Monet quickly hurried out the Big Brother house, right after she was voted out on a vote of 7 - 2...really, she could've taken a second to at least give Britney a hug.... didn't that kid look devastated? Will be very interesting to see how Britney can hussle around, try to find a new game plan.... starting with getting Rachel on her side...?? Hmmm. Wonder why Rachel seems to feel the need for Britney's support? And Rachel is really irritating me, now, with the, "I'd rather have Brendon than the $500,000". Soooo, were you looking for The Bachelor, but accidentally got on Big Brother?? haha! And does that mean that, let's say, Rachel happened to play a really good game, and SHE won Big Brother, would that mean that Brendon would be soo mad, they wouldn't have a relationship in the outside world? Anybody see a little red flag, there?? haha! Wouldn't it be better for them to BOTH play their very best game, individually, then they could share whatever money either of them wins? Do you think Brendon feels the same way? I doubt it. There's something about him that I don't trust...but I've been a cynic for a couple of days, now (so far, so good!), and something about him that makes me uneasy ... maybe it's the lighting in the Big Brother 12 house! haha!

I love Ragan... he's definitely one of my favorite players. He's hilarious! Poor guy, making a little joke about being taped up to a brick wall being a 'typical friday night in North Hollywood,', then Cara (my truly lovely daughter!), tlod me she was reading online that now Ragan is worried he has set the Gay Community back many, many years by his comment, but I'm sure everyone just laughed it off -- it was pretty funny (and it's fun to go up to North Hollywood, or NOHO, if you live here in LA... it's very cool up there... maybe Ragan will single-handedly increase tourism to North Hollywood, some people bringing their own tape! lol!), and he is so clever, I'm sure it will not be taken out of context...

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010... uh-oh... gotta go do something important! Will write in da morning!! Sowwwy!

I baaack!! Sometimes fun has to come before writing, am I right?? lol! So on wit' da Big Brother show.... oh, Monet, what a lovely girl you are... so kind, sooo sweet, just a teensy bit violent ('I don't like Rachel, I want to punch her in the face!', 'she's a stooopid hooker', 'Oh, Rachel's JEALOUS of me!', 'If I don't like someone, I'll say it straight to their face...' Oh, beautiful Monet, where did you go to Charm School? I think I'd like to go there, because it seems like it must have been super-easy, so even the biggest idiot could pass it... uh-oh, dis girl in for twooouble!! But I don't know why, she has clearly honed her people skills to win over enough votes to survive the block... hahha!

And what is Matt up to?? He IS a super-genius, if he does have to say so, himself! hahaha! I love when people have to TELL you how smart they are, or they are really defensive about their utter stupidity, 'I'm not stooopid' (critical that you push your lips way out when you say that, and lower your voice... it's all in how you say it! haha!)... uh, yep, you just might be a bit on the dull side if you feel the need to explain away youse stooopidity! haha! 'Put me on the block, I can take it', schnuff, schuff... he is sooo crazy-proud to offer himself up as a little human sacrifice... good thing this guy wasn't playing for Big Brother, Mayan Edition... dat not be good! But the thing that disgusts me about Matt, now, is his made-up 'diease' for his wife. Ugh. Who does that? Reminiscent of Johnny on survivor when he faked his grandma's death...luckily, that stuff never comes back to bite you in da assss! lol! Hilarious that he told Andrew, the doctor, whom he believes wholeheartedly is a Shoe Salesman... there's that genius mentality shining through, again... wouldn't you just have to have a casual conversation with Andrew to detect that he truly is really brilliant, or, at the very least, really, really smart?? I hope Andrew is good and safe, because he's one of my favorite players...it's funny how I like decency in people! lol!

I think Lane might take over Enzo's Number One role for 'who da stupidiest in da Big Brother House', that I had lovingly, or mockingly (sometimes there's a thin line between love and mocking... I think there's a Pretender's song about just that topic.... yuff, yuff!) Oh I laughed so hard (and so did my beer...) when Lane says, about teh POV game, he was soo surprised, because he had NEVER been locked up in a dollar bill stock before.... they can't even write comedy lines like that -- who would say them? That's gotta come naturally, fer sures! haha! So how often do you think he's been locked up in other types of stocks?? Maybe he's a big fan of Legoland, where the have the stocks the kids put their faces and hands in, get their pictures taken by parents thrilled to see their children 'locked up' -- oh, the hilarity!

So Enzo is not me favorite, any more, even though he continues to say crazy things... but I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and maybe suggest that his WIFEY may not like him all that much, either, on account'a he calles her 'The Wifey' (does he have a Time Machine in his room and he thinks the Woman's Movement hasn't started, yet?? haha!), but, and more importantly, you nkow how he lost the POV by 14 seconds (that's right, girls, FOURTEEN seconds), and he says, 'that's like a quickie with The Wifey'.... uh-oh, poor Wifey! (What a bizarre name for her parents to give her.. maybe they really, really wanted to marry her off early...) Oh, Meow Meow, I think you might just be a d*ckhead, now (is that a Medical Term? I bet Matt knows the answer to that! lol!)

I'm losing interest in Rachel and Brendon, the happiest couple o earth, provided she does exactly what he says, although, I DID feel pretty annoyed with Rachel, too, when she seemed to fall for those two mowons, Britney and Monet, in their little scheme (oh, those crazy schemers -- 'if we pull this off, we're geniuseseses!' haha! What?? I canny believe they didn't pull it off! But I loooved when Brendon was fed up with Rachel not seing things his way, so he packs up his things and leaves (although, truth be told, I have been known to do this many times, meself, sometimes packing up me things and moving across the country!! lol!) Rachel needs to stop being a lovesick puppy, and start playing her own game... and that may happen when she starts to clue in to Brendon's utter neediness (hmmmm, wonder if that's why the girl he was engaged to left him? That's rarely a good sign, when a girl breaks off an engagement -- you know something bad went down.. or didn't go down, if you know what I mean (is it blue in here, today??), or an old boyfriend emerged and she went back to him... wll, I guess there are a myriad of options, there... but, still, doesn't Brendon seem overly needy to you, too?)

Okay, I gotta go out drinkin', again... I'm tryin' to hit all da places I really like to go in L.A. before we move back to Canada, as soon as our house sells, here... (hopefully really soon! Sunday, July 18th, 2010...Rachel & Brendon, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.... well, are you watching the live feeds on Showtime, all full of the budding showmance between Rachel and Brendon?? Funny. Especially all the promises he makes to her, and this poor girl believes they'll be together, forever... I hope it works out for her, and she doesn't get hurt (now I really like her... Brendon, I'm not so sure of... questionable why he was on the same team as Britney and Monet... those annoying goils! Man, are they really a couple of morons (or, as I like to call them 'mowons'.... it's more fun to say it like that! haha!) Those two look like they couldn't get themselves out of a cardboard box, and what's with Britney contantly playin' around with her nails, or, worse yet, biting them?? eeeewww! Yuck, Britney! And did you hear her say she wanted to 'shoot herself in the face'?? Yick! Why so violent against yourself, L'il Britney??

I love the Hayden and Kristen "we're not in a showmance", showmance... too funny. Is it just me, or is Kristen the dullest girl ever on Big Brother?? haha! Does she ever speak in whole sentences, me wonders? Hilarious that Hayden thinks she is a 'woman of mystery'.. uh-oh, she might just be a 'woman o' stupi', which is not quite the same thing! lol! But, man, she is able to get those 20 hours of beauty sleep in, every day -- no problemo! That girl is always sleeping somewhere...

My love for Enzo is quickly fading -- now he's just an irritant. I hate when the men of the house talk about Rachel like she has no functioning brain, fully incapable of making any decision on her own.... when Enzo and Matt are BOTH saying that Brendon is the real HOH, that's just soo patronizing. And Hayden and Lane are guilty of the same thing, too... I hope when the next GUY to get HOH is up, the girls in the house will be super condescending to him, and say he can't think of anything on his own, he needs his woman to make all his decisions for him ... (which might very well be true! hahahaha!)

So you know how Andrew was deliriously happy (literally, jumping up and down with joy! lol!) when Rachel won the HOH?? Now why would he do that? Are THEY the friends from the outside? What if Rachel is his SISTER??? hahaha! You never know with tricky Big Brother!! lol!

Now Britney and Monet are up on the block... yippee! Really, I don't like either of them. Too catty for me. And I hate that nail-biting -- yuck! Get you' fingers out yer mouth, Britney!! Can't she smoke, or something?? Keep her hands busy?? haha! (I'm kidding! I'm not encouraging smoking... just trying to discourage nail-biting! lol!I have an oldie page on how to stop smoking, though, now that I think of it... it was about a great book I read that actually helped me lose weight, because really, it was about how to stop addictive behavior,,, Alan Carr, I think the author's name was... Thursday, July 15th, 2010... Ding, dong, the witch is dead... !! Yippee, yahooo, Annie was voted out, AND she was the sabateur!! Yippee! I called it, I called it... sort of! haha! But we're thrilled that such a bee-yotch was booted out first... you can't rant and rave at people, be a total Nasty, then claim innocently, later, that you were only being 'sarcastic'. Nope. Was Mel Gibson being 'sarcastic'?? No. People who rant are asssses. End of story. Either you rant, or you don't, and she was definitely one to go off on people. It's a GAME, and someone has to go up on the chopping block, and if you're that hard to live with, d'uh, it'a gonna be you, babeez!! hahaha! You gotta be nice, smooth (and possibly with a smokin' hot bod, like Rachel! hahahaha! My favorite part, there, was when Rachel just happened to be wearing da skimpiest o' bikini tops around the house, conveniently, right before the vote! lol! Clever girl! Use what you got, baby!

And then, for Rachel to turn it all around and win HOH -- you go girl! Now Brendon will be back in there... maybe they'll move in together! ll! But what the h*ll was that about with Brendon being like a Soprano (remember Big Pussy?? haha!)... well, the name, anyway.. WTF?? Why did he want to talk about crazy Annie right in the middle of a make-out session with Rachel -- eeew! And didn't Rachel look totally turned off by that whole thing? haha! But perhaps he's good looking enough for all to have been forgiven, now that they have their own place, 'n such! haha!

Oh, and did you looove it when ol' Annie says to the beautiful Julie Chen (wasn't she gorgeous in that blue dress? Funny how a cut-out on a dress looks so much sexier than a regular tank top style...) that Brendon was after her first, and that she turned him down, so Rachel has HER sloppy seconds?? hahahaha! Okay, now da delusion is confirmed!

So who is this Kristen girl?? And why have they chosen to keep her hidden away? Is SHE one of the secret life-long friend alliance?? Oooh, you're tricky, Big Brother! When will we find out which house guests are the life-long friends? Hmmm... they keep you wondering, dat fer sures!

Did you love the three choices for food for the next little while, all involving fishy candy?? haha! Taffy & Tuna, Catfish & Candy Corn (yum!!), or Fruit cake and Fish Sticks?? I guess we'll see if American Voters are kind or have a warped sense of humor! lol! (I'm on my second beer -- can you tell?? haha!)

My favorite, Enzo... dat little kitty needs a full 9 hours of schweep, say Baby Meow Meow! And did you see Kathy (the Mom of the group) had on a t-shirt that said, 'Rub for Luck'?? hahaha! Oh, so modest. But, man, when you look at Britney and Kathy, they sure look alike, don't they? Maybe a mother & daughter team... we'll see!

Cara (my lovely 22 year old daughter!) taped Big Brother After Dark on Showtime 2... yahoo! Thank God for DVR... how could we ever live without it?? It comes on from Midnight to 3:00am, so I'll watch it when I get home from school tomorrow afternoon...

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010.... Dang, I was sure Big Brother 12 was gonna tell us who the Sabateur was, tonight! Dammmit, now we have to wait until tomorrow night! (Yes, gives me something to look forward to in my life! lol!) So who do you think it is, now?? Hmmm.... so many options, but who's this Kristen?? I vaguely remember her from the first episode, but she has been playin' under the radar, man! She must have been busy in the popcorn challenge, and the hot dog challenge, but I can't remember the girl.... so does that mean she's the sabateur?? Cara (my lovely 22 year old daughter!), still thinks the sabateur is Britney, and now that we know two of the house guests already know each other, and didn't they say they were lifelong friends (?), so we think that Kathy and Britney could be mother and daughter... when you see them side by side, they look almost identical (or at least they use the same hair color - hahaha!). And remember when they both came down to the kitchen and found X's on their faces, and neither of them had a particularly bad reaction? Wouldn't you freak out, just a little bit, if someone had placed an X on a picture of your face? Unless you didn't have anything to worry about... I wonder!

For a while there, I was pretty sure the sabateur was Brendon, since he did go out of his way to get a showmance going with Rachel, and who else was able to find 13 letters to make the word 'understanding' for the mayo challenge? Hmmm... makes you wonder! And, how sad that Rachel would have thrown away her own chance to stay in the game to let Brendon stay safe? Poor girl! She's already in love! What a woman will do for her man... but it was clearly not the other way around -- Brendon is in it to win it (or at least stay safe for the full five weeks, if he is indeed the sabateur! But I did like that Brendon already asked Rachel out on a date after the show.. so he wins big brownie points for being sweet :)

I love that Andrew 'misspelled' pasteurized, intentionally. Yes, a lot of doctors do that. They really don't want to appear too smart in a game where spelling is part of the competition... and I loved when he leapt up when the house guests were in the living room, declaring loudly that he is NOT the sabateur, because how could he be, he's not friends with ANYONE in the house, because not one of them know anything about Judaism. Hmmm. Now how would he know that? A quiz? Secret questions over a leisurely breakfast? And how come we didn't hear anoyone complain about eating the slop? Didn't half the house guests have to eat slop since they lost that challenge? You'd think someone wouldda muttered something disparaging about the slop, right?? Or is it delicious slop?? haha!

Enzo is still one of my favorites, if only because he says things like, at the beginning of the show, "things couldn't get any more perfect-er"... oh, I loove that! And I love that he is still happily referring to himself as Meow Meow... hahaha! And he's a little schemer, always trying to get more girls off the show... Kathy, no, Annie, any girl, really, but not Britney... oooh, wonder if there's something there?? Why would he allow Britney to come into The Brigade's Secret Headquarters?

So, since Brendon won the PoV (Power of Veto), and he got to be in charge, and luckily took himself off the chopping block, Hayden put up Annie with no hesitation, not even a little... and I think the men in the house really like to look at Rachel, even if she is a threat if she's with Brendon... we'll see if her trip to the plastic surgeon (possibly!) will pay off in the Big Brother house! lol! Yo yo yo, what up? Iz you part o' da ENZO Mafia, or what?? OMG, I loove Enzo! He's craaazy! Mama-lovin', mafia-wanna-be... he's hilarious! I love that he gave all the other guys in his Brigade' cool manly names, then reserved 'Meow Meow' for himself! hahahaha! It doesn't get any better than that! He's slick and cool, like a kitty...! lol! Oooh, I'm gonna love this season of Big Brother! Big Brother 12, how I love ye so, already, and we've only just begun!

So I take everything back that I said about Rachel, the Vegas 'waitress' who is really, truly, a chemist. Uh-oh, I really trashed her the other day -- but where did those giant breasts come from? A plastic surgeon? To be a chemist?? Au naturel? Seems unlikely... lol! But I love the budding Showmance between Rachel and Brendon, with their shared love of chemistry and science... and other large things floating in da hot tub! haha! And Hayden, immediately trying to dismantle these two before we get to see the fun stuff -- come on Hayden, let them have a little fun!!

Have you figured out who the Sabateur is, yet? I just love saying the word, 'Sabateur'... funny! My 22 year old daughter, Cara, and I watch Big Brother 12 together, so a lot of fun to guess who the Sabateur is... Cara thinks it's Britney, because Cara thinks she's the one she thinks you'd least suspect... I have my eye on Andrew, still, because his team won the Food, and he was very concerned that he would be faced with the Big Brother 'slop', since it's not Kosher, and he wouldn't be able to eat it... but then, Cathy, who is a police woman, couldn't drag herself through the caramel in the popcorn challenge -- very suspect, right??

I don't know about Annie -- still pretty quiet, and she spent a LOT of time listening in on Rachel and Brendon's intimate 'oooh, I like you' conversation in the hot tub.. and Monet hasn't actually said anything to the camera about HER concerns for the Sabateur, and she seems to be flying under the radar, too...oh, and Britney was very quick to run up to Hayden, the first HoH, to get herslf off the chopping block... hmmm! So many choices!

So now Rachel and Brendon are up for Eviction -- sob! Already? Is this a summer version of Romeo and Juliet? Oh, we're excited about Wednesday, when we get to find out who is the Sabateur, but my favorite part is that the audience will know who the sabateur is, but the houseguests won't... and the fun will ensue! lol!

Thursday, July 8th, 2010. So, did you watch Big Brother 12, tonight?? And have you guessed who the Sabateur is, yet? Did you love that they put the word, 'Sabateur' up on the screen so people could say it and sound it out, AND know how to spell it?? haha! Good idea! I took note, too! Sooo, I think Annie... she's kind of the sleeper of the group, and Lane, even though he's like the Silent Lone-Wolf guy, he might really just be a quiet guy... which reminds me of that old line, "silent waters run deep', which I have attributed to more than one boyfriend over the years (lol!), but one day I read this hilarious quote (wish I could remember where), but it went like this... "Silent Waters don't run deep, they don't run at all!" haha! It never occurred to me that a silent guy might NOT be thinking anything at all, just sitting there, a giant lump on my sofa. haha! (Clearly, I'm greatly amused by this, now, and unfortunately, still attracted to the same 'silent types' -- what's wrong with me?? haha!) Oh, yeah, and I had some beer while I was watching Big Brother, so that might totally be clouding my thoughts, right now!

I think the Sabateur on Big Brother could be the really good looking P.E. Teacher from Riverside, California, Branden (Brendan, like the male form of Brenda?? haha!). Really, the lights suddenly go out and you immediately think, 'Oh, it's bed time' (for teddy bears). Hilarious! I gotta bwush my teef!! I gotta hurry! So funny. A clever ruse... :) But all stuff we love, since it's fun to watch it with someone else who will laugh their way with it with you. Oh, and because Brendan is a teacher, maybe he only wants to be on the show for 5 weeks, collect his $50 Grand for being the Sabateur, maybe get noticed by Hollywood, forget teaching and move straight into a Big Movie career?? Like everyone else within 500 miles of L.A.! haha!

I loved the whole 'L'il Brittney' thing, where the only thing I remembered about her was that she said she was newly engaged... and that she loooves Ragan, because she really, really loves the 'flaming homosexuals'. Hmmmm.... if you're still using the entire word, 'homosexuals', are you really in love with our favourite gays?? That's so crazy! But I love Ragan, too, if only for his name, since that's fantastic.... do you think his parents had a Big Plan for their son to be a Republican? haha! Maybe all kinds of open-minded people are using the entire word, homosexual', but I just can't imagine that. IIt's like a clinical description to me... needs to be waaay more fun! Perhaps she could get a visit from Kathy Griffin, learn a little more about 'da gays', and the words to use! lol! (I just finished Kathy Griffin's new book, Kathy Griffin's Memoirs -- it's soo great, you'll love it!)

You know the girl from Vegas? Rachel? Giant chest?? Did she have red hair? Who can remember?? haha! Anyway, she had giant bazoomgas... and did she really say she was a CHEMIST?? hahaha! So strange, I don't know any chemists that look quite like her. Maybe she just bought a Chemist's outfit at the Romance 4 Us store down the street from the Big Brother Studio!

Did you love Enzo, the mama's boy? Uh-oh. That never turns out well. Sure, you wanna love youse muthah', but there's gotta be a limit.. "Oh, Ma, I'd marry youse if youse wasn't my mother..."! hahahaha! Those crazy mama's boys! (Don't marry them, girls!! Get out now, if you see the signs! Plenty of real men out there, one who loves his mom but doesn't necessarily want to MARRY her! hahaha! And if his name is Oedipus, get to runnin'! haha!)

What about Andrew, the Jewish Doctor? Hmmm. Why the emphasis on his religion? Maybe the mole? How religious do you think he really is? Was the religion thing thrown in because people would think, 'oh, a religious man wouldn't try to fool anyone...? Tricky to tell. He seems observant... will be interesting to see over the course of the Season...he was moving around an awful lot when the lights went out, and the 'mole', or 'sabateur' would probaby know the place inside out, so would know their way around... and he immediately offered himself to sit out on the first challenge for HOH (Head of Household), which meant he couldn't be voted out... preplanned?? Perhaps! We'll find out next Thursday! Now my summer looks better! (A sad reflection of my life?? haha!)

So my own life is pretty crazy, right now. My house is on the Market, and I want to sell it quickly, so I've dropped the price by $50,000 (sob, sob!). Ah, well. The prices for houses are waaay lower where I want to move to, so even if I take a loss here, I can make it up on the other side... hopefully1 It's a tough economy, so you have to make adjustments for that. Life didn't work out for me in Los Angeles the way I thought it would. Teachers are not supported, here, the way they need to be, and frankly, I didn't find one good man to marry, so forget it. I hate the law that says you can stay if you're married -- so archaic. It costs a pile to even apply for a Green Card (and 5 years to get it processed, so I've timed out on that one), and I had a principal over the past couple of years who didn't speak to his staff, so there was no way I wanted to ask him for a glowing letter for me to present to the INS. I look forward to teaching in a system where there are truly great leaders, who value and are kind to their staff, and protect them from harm. Seems pretty basic, and I have had some great administrators over the years here, but in order to apply for the Green Card, I needed the full support of my current principal, and , literally, his door was not open to teachers. Go figure. So that's enough, already, and now I just want to go home. Start again. I hope we get an offer on my property, soon, so I can get a new ball rolling, as soon as possible!

Big Brother All-Stars: Hey, can you believe that Big Brother is back, already? Why, it seems like just yesterday we were all-consumed with Big Brother, and I was writing hilarious (yes, my very own choice of words, there...and it's important to make the word go up an octave right in the middle, too... much more fun to say it that way... ha,ha!). Anyway, if you're a Big Fan of Big Brother, here's somethin' you're-a-gonna love...!

Are you ready for another season of Big Brother? For the first time in Big Brother history worldwide, viewers will vote on which former HouseGuests will compete in Big Brother 7: ALL-STARS. Last night, CBS unveiled the top 20 candidates from seasons past. Web voting opened after the show and the polls close Wednesday, June 28 at 11:59PM ET/8:59PM PT. All 20 candidates will be present when they announces the All-Stars House Guests on the season premiere, Thursday, July 6 at 8PM ET/PT. < >

Big Brother All-Stars will follow the relationships and conflicts of players who live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. One by one, the HouseGuests will vote each other out of the house. At the end of three months, the last remaining HouseGuest will receive the Grand Prize of $500,000. While living together in a confined space won't be anything new to the HouseGuests, choosing between any pre-existing relationships and building new alliances could be a challenge.

Wednesday, Sept. 21st, 2005. "Ah, well. It ain't lookin' good for old Ivette, now, since she pissed so many people off during the Game, and Maggie really flew under the radar... so my guess is that Maggie will be the winner." Man, can't believe I was right about Maggie... for a few minutes, there, during the Jury Vote, I was starting to think Ivette might win the whole thing, but Howie voted for Maggie, and she won the Grand Prize -- $500,000! Man, that's a lot of cash for 80 relatively pleasant days. And very few words. And very few wins... ah, well. We've seen the 'flying under the radar' trick used a fair bit in the Reality TV Games. Definitely seems to work, so wonder if it would work in real-life? Hmmm. I'm crappy at keeping my thoughts to myself (can you tell? ha,ha!), but now that I've read The Four Agreements, I'm waaay better at not letting other people's words get to me. Maybe that was Maggie's secret, too....

I really liked when they brought in the 'old House Guess' -- great to see Kaysar, again... but who could be bothered seeing James & Sarah hugging? I wanted to see Janelle and Michael! Ain't they more exciting?? Can't wait for the CBS Wedding Extravaganza, should their relationship magically work out! ha,ha,ha!

I think I would have liked to see Ivette win the money in the end, since she really seemed to need it, more, but I guess that's not what the Game's all about... and that feeling was just reinforced when Julie Chen asked Maggie what she was going to do with the money, and Maggie says, "Oh, buy gifts...". Hmmm. That must've made Ivette frustrated. What I couldn't understand is the level of vehemence 'The Friendship' would have had 'if one of them was voted out at the end'. How silly was that, that if one of them had been voted out at the end would automatically lose all the votes from the same Friendship'. Man, I hope I never accidentally find myself in that sort of 'Friendship' ... who needs enemies when you can have fabulous friends like that! (And who came up with the idea that everyone needs enemies?? Some nitwit angry nut, no doubt! ha,ha,ha!)

Tuesday, September 20th, 2005. Wow, can't believe it's the Last Day of Big Brother, already! Where does the time go, me wonders?? (Yes, I'm in an Ali G kinda mood... must get his First and Second Seasons, now that they're out on DVD...)

I missed last Friday's Episode because I had to go to this creepy French Farce with my parents -- yuck. Turned out it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and the dinner was good, but I missed Big Brother, and would have been happier at home watching that... problem? Not that I'm willing to look at! ha,ha! Anyhooo, Cara filled me in on BB6, and I caught the last 10 minutes of it on Saturday night when I got back from Banff... So my favorite Girl, Janelle, is out. Sob, sob. Ah, well. It ain't lookin' good for old Ivette, now, since she pissed so many people off during the Game, and Maggie really flew under the radar... so my guess is that Maggie will be the winner.

I did catch the bit where Ivette said to Maggie that at least she'd (meaning herself) win $50 Thousand... what's with the defeatest attitude? Trying not to jinx the situation, or really down on herself like that? I can't be bothered with that. It'll be really interesting what happens to everyone after the Game, and see who has 'staying power' in the Media. I'm betting we'll see plenty of Janelle & Michael, Kaysar and Howie.

Wednesday, Sept. 14th, 2005. Wow. The 14th -- 6 days left until the Big Brother Finale and one day 'til the New Survivor... now what do you mean, "I'm television obsessed"?? You'd be surprised at how many other things I'm obsessed about! ha,ha,ha! But enough about me, back to April, who really oughtta be the Center of the Universe, in her own estimation, anyway. Sometimes it's tough to think about anything but yourself, like right after when someone else wins something you wanted. Or if you're 'just trying to be honest' (April: "Oh, why can't I just be honest??"), and it doesn't go over well because the other person doesn't appear to want to be told what a moron they are... hmmm. Oh, the Universe is a tricky, tricky place, all full of surprises. Now April has to find out the hard way...

Ivette was lucky enough to win the Veto, and then had the gall to be ecstatic about it. Right in front of April, when she shouldda known that might affect April in some way ... and according to lovely April, Ivette could easily have demurely accepted the Power of Veto with her head bowed, as April imagined she herself would have managed 'The Win', but no -- turns out, Ivette's human, too. Now that makes tow humans -- Janelle and Ivette! ha,ha! Oh, those crazy Girls! What's next up their sleeves for excitement? No, seriously, I wonder what's really coming up next, since didn't Maggie say she fell in love with April the very first day she met her?? Ooooh. Maybe hold off on any possible wedding plans with the seven-year boyfriend for Maggie... And as an aside to all the girls out there reading this, if you don't have any sort of wedding commitment (and you want one) after 7 years of a relationship, it be time to start looking elsewhere...

Did you love Janelle's sheer joy over all the in-fighting between Ivette and April? Sooo funny. And to think April was still voted out by Ivette after all the honest (but cruel) things April said... maybe that's true that your words can come back to bite you in the ... now what was I saying? Something about where to put the Power of Veto -- oh, no, that was what Ivette was hoping for, right after a big fight with April. And I loved the little taped piece that Janelle had recorded prior to April's Eviction -- "Oh, April, I think you're really funny. I'm really gonna miss you...", then Ivette's rehashing of the same fight they had earlier. Some folks learn, and some folks don't.

Oh, gotta go -- amn, time flies when I'm writing this. I look forward to seeing who can balance the longest, and who will win the Final HOH contest. Oh, it's gonna be a fun week!

Monday, Sept. 12th, 2005. Hello, hello, hello! Sorry it took me so long to get back in here after Big Brother on Saturday -- it was my little guy's 6th Birthday, yesterday. (Yes, September 11th -- poor wee man is too young to make any 'other' connections to that Date, so we don't say anything about what happened on his Special Day...) Anyway, wasn't that a great Episode?? Man, it looks like Ivette is starting to see that Janelle just-might-be-hu-man... what with a Family, a cute little dog, and a Gay Friend... Ivette might just start to see what America (and Canada!) sees. I loooved that Janelle won the Trip to the Set of Two and a Half Men -- hilarious Show, and she is by far the cutest! ha,ha!

So here's a wee lesson for April -- let's say you call an entire Country, and all of your Viewing Audience, "stooopid and dumb". Any chance that might backfire on you and then they won't give you their votes for special prizes? Hmmm. I wonder... And poor old Ivette trying to figure out why America might like a girl like Janelle. Ooooh, the world's full of tricky little mysteries, just like that.

And Maggie -- oh, Maggie. She's gettin' to be a we bit jaded about the Game, have you noticed?? ha,ha! When she said to Janelle after Janie won the Trip to the TV Set, and I paraphrase since I forgot to write the whole thing down (!), "I guess that means you're gonna give one of us the Plasma TV and one of us the Trip to the Bahamas...". Right, because that's how life works. You do well consistently, then you hand over your stuff to people who are consistently mean to you. (At least they're consistent. ha,ha!) That sounds about right. Hope it all works out for Maggie... She is second on my list of people who I wouldn't mind seeing win the 'Big Prize', but mostly because she's a Nurse, and nurse's deserve lots of money... April, not so much!

Hilarious when Janelle was on the Set of Two and a Half Men, and 'Charlie' asked her if she liked the people she lived with in the Big Brother House, and she says, "All the people I liked left the show ...", only the ones she doesn't like are still there! ya,ha,ha! Buuuurn -- that's gonna make those girls mad when they see the tapes, later, now won't it?? Janelle did get to have a good long (40 minutes) talk with April, though, so she'll create a nice wee wedge in between The Friendship, enough to tear it apart. Already, Maggie is saying that if 'anyone' betrays The Friendship, they might not get any of their votes at the end. Now that a true Friendship, right there. Kick 'em when they're down, I always say... or, no. Wait a minute... that seems a bit cruel...

Interesting 'bonding exercise' between April and Janelle, though. I'm pretty sure they might have picked up a few more million Viewers with the 'Breast Implant' poking ceremony! Very funny. Poke, poke. Giggle, giggle. All very entertaining, until someone pokes a hole! Oh, and I loved when April was saying that she'd had quite a few things done, plastic surgery-wise, but not because of insecurities or nuthin'... you know those people who are completely secure about themselves are always have their Plastic Surgeon on speed-dial...

So Janelle, in her HOH position, gave April the last Key, and nominated Ivette and Maggie for possible Eviction. Ooooh, we're really comin' down the the wire, now. Only 8 days left 'til somebody's filthy, stinkin' rich! Hope it's Janelle! It'll be good to see how conniving the 'gals' will get over the next few days... work it, Girls!

Friday, Sept. 9th, 2005. Day 68 (technically Day 69, today!). Oh, my Howie is out... but he played a great game and it was sooo much fun to watch him. I'm sure he'll be on TV for many years to come -- him and Janelle, when she has time off from the Playboy Shoots... ha,ha,ha! But I was sure -- sure -- that Ivette was ging to vote April off, since she had already said she didn't want to see April win the money. Hmmm. Wonder if having to say your Eviction Choice out loud in front of the group changed her mind? At any rate, it's down to the Final Four, and they'se all Girls! Womens. Chicks... that's fantastic! I still would love to have seen Kaysar at the end, but I know that ain't possible!

Did you love the taped pieces from Ivette's Mom and Girlfriend? (Isn't that amazing how much the times-they-are-a-changin' that CBS would openly and without any evasion, talk about and tape Ivette's Girlfriend. It's not that long ago when any Gay Relationship was dealt with so secretly - or worse - that it would never be on TV. Good to see the changes.) Anyhoooo, there's gonna be some fights when Ivette gets home, since her Girlfriend, Maggie, really likes Janelle and really, really didn't like 'Cappy', or Ivette's apparent obsession with him. The very first time that Maggie happens to mention to Ivette, "Hey, you think Janelle might like to pop over for dinner?", there's gonna be trouble in the land! ha,ha,ha!

What was that all about with James in the Jury House? Why would he be such a jerk in there? Funny when Beau came in and James carried him 'over the threshold', as it were...! Maybe with four people in there, and now Howie, it'll be more pleasant. Beautiful house, though. Wonder if all the Bedrooms are as big as Jennifer's?

I'm waiting for some house guests of my own to come over, today, so I think I better go get ready... and maybe get a wee bit of reading in before they get here. I'm reading The Mastery of Love, by don Miguel Ruiz , right now -- very interesting. Maybe one day I can put it to good use! ha,ha,ha!

Thursday, Sept. 8th, 2005. Hey, there, you Big Brother Fan, you! Oh, so many great things happened on Big Brother on Tuesday... I loved when Howie opened up Ivette's Reese's Pieces that she won as part of the HOH Room ... isn't that common sense not to open a girl's chocolates that she's saving for herself? Man, that's a punishable offense at our house, and many others, I'm a-guessing! ha,ha! Oh, Howie ... he's sooo entertaining with that Star Wars Light Saber. He might single-handedly bring it back into the stores, he makes it look like so much fun!

Hmmm. Just realized that there are only 12 days left of Big Brother, since the Finale is on Sept. 20th. There's a lot to do before they get to the end! Who do you think will end up the Last Two? I'm thinking Janelle and Maggie. Not sure why, and I'm tempted to put Ivette in there with Janelle, but I think it's more likely to be Maggie. I didn't like Ivette's little speech about Janelle only succeeding by manipulating men... now that's annoying. Clearly, Janelle can win like a fiend, and that's why she is where she is... and she is very good at reading people. Everybody could use her skills. And her looks don't hurt, either! ha,ha!

April really breaks me up... every time she speaks, she says somehting hilarious, that you can't possibly think she gets what she's saying... she's all mad because after Janelle won the Power of Veto, April canny believe that Janelle is soooo selfish, she might just save herself. No! Say it ain't so, that Janelle has a functioning brain, and might even use it! Oh, April... her husband is really funny, though -- did you see that episode? I think he took offense at being called 'fat'.. funny guy, so she has a nice life to get back to, and probably pretty soon...and Howie refers to April as 'a cute little pawn', which she seems to like. Those crazy Pawns -- they always see themselves as Queens!

So, according to Maggie's 'New Plan', alls she gots to do is win all the Veto and the HOH's, and she'll be fine. Should be easy. Too bad she hadn't thought of that a bit earlier...

Tuesday, Sept. 6th, 2005. Ooooh, that took me a long time to get back in here for my Big Brother 6 Update! I've been watching the Katrina thing, and it's hard to think of anything else, right now. I thought, fer sures, it was going to be some big Musical Guest. Although, it would greatly appeal to my sense of humor if they didn't bring in a really Big Guest until there are only 2 or 3 people left in da' house... now that would be funny! Three little lighters, flashing in the night...

And Howie didn't seem to have nearly as much fun as the HOH as the last time -- not enough time to play around, I'm guessing! Still, he scored the Star Wars Light Saber Swords, and those are very difficult to come by, so he's a lucky boy one way or another! (I've gotta go check if it's 'light sabre' or if that's just what I think I hear... I'll be back in if I'm wrong, which I have been known to be, on average, once or twice a day!) (I just checked it out, and I had the word right, but the spelling wrong, so it's 'Light Saber'... and you can still get them on eBay!)

Saturday Morning, Sept. 3rd, 2005. Are you gonna watch Big Brother, tonight?? There's a special Big Guest coming on... wonder who? And what happens when there's a Natural Disaster (or any huge disaster...) that happens outside the Big Brother House? Technically, they're not supposed to know, but what if someone in the house has Family and Friends in the areas hit by Hurricane Katrina? (Good thing Howie has stopped calling himself 'Hurricane Howie', since now it's not nearly as funny...)

You know, I feel a bit sorry for all the girls called 'Katrina', since they're gonna have a hard time at school this year... whenever your name is associated with something else, there's trouble in the land. When I was in Grade Four, the movie 'Born Free' with Elsa the Lion came out. All year, some idiot kids would shout to me, "Elsa! Elsa the Lion!" ha,ha,ha! Those kids were brilliant, and I'm sure they're all very successful, now... (insert my own laughter,here!). The only recourse I could think of at the time was to say that my name was in fact pronounced "Ale - sah", not "Ell-sah", and of course, the old standby when your brain goes numb -- run & cry! Oh, what lovely childhood memories!

Oh, you know who else I feel sorry for? Rachel, alone in the Jury house with Jennifer, who can't seem to stop herself from being a bit of a bee-otch... now what's that all about? You'd think that by a certain age (let's say, Four...), you'd start to catch on that if you are nice (or at least not mean...) to other people who live in the same house (a house you know you can't leave...), you'd at least pretend to be pleasant. And maybe if Jennifer could pretend to be nice for long enough, it might just become a new Personality Trait. Or one could always hope! ha,ha!

Anyway, it's great to see that Howie won the HOH, and for the Second Time, so that means another turn in the Game. It's amazing to see how the game changes so dramaticaly with the person who wins the Head of House. And he had to immediately put up two people for Eviction, so he put Ivette and Beau up on the Chopping Block. They're the last 'Pair' in the house, so that made them a clear target. Except that Howie really likes Beau, so we'll see what happens in the Veto Ceremony... with James finally gone, someone else actually stands a chance of winning it!

Hey, are they getting new clothes as they go along, or is everything just starting to look great as they all spend so much time in the gym?? Maggie is looking fantastic, and some of the outfits I don't remember seeing earlier in the game... maybe they're doing some sort of 'mix and match' thing, where they all wear each other's clothes! Or perhaps they get a new wardrobe to go along with the new food in the pantry. They must be hidden away while all the new stuff is delivered into the house, or they'd be all over the poor Delivery People for different Human Contact! ha,ha,ha!

That wee April is very entertaining, what with the Total Denial of all things rational, 'n all... Right after Janelle actually gets the Personal Call from Michael, April's take on it, "There's no way America picked Janelle...!" Sooo funny! And I love Ivette's fury at not getting her message from home instead of Janelle (incidentally, I voted for Janelle, too -- who didn't want to hear a fun little conversation between Janelle & Michale, hmmm??). Hard to beleive people don't respond well to angry folks...

Oh, Maggie. Maggie Mae, Maggie Moo -- don't think I'd like a 'moo' added into the end of my name, even if it sounds sweet to someone else (April!). I wonder what her relationship is like, since she was all mad at Janelle for not having an 'intellectual' conversation with Michael when he called her... why, it sounded more like they were in love...! (Come on, CBS Wedding Bells...!)

What's up with the creepy James doing Bible Quotes? Ugh. Hate that. Wonder why some of the creepiest sorts are more likely to do that? Must be a part of their brain that lets them think if they just quote from a Good Source, maybe they'll be perceived as also good... and didn't he already swear on the Bible, and that didn't go well, either?? I hope they're successful with the Big Plan to back-door James, tonight... that guy seems to be pretty slippery, so you can never tell until the Vote.

You know what would be fun to know? The number of votes each of the House Guests got for the Personal Message Vote. Think I'll poke around and see if I can find it. I'll post the numbers if I can them out...

Saturday Morning, August 27th, 2005. So my little Rachel is out, but not without yet another slam from Ivette. Man, Ivette seems to have a bit of seething hatred under her skin, for some reason or another -- wonder what that's all about?? Now who enjoyed the Eviction Voting Process? I'm guessing that more than a few folks were happy they were TiVo'ing Janelle's time 'in the booth'... reminiscent of a certain Sharon Stone Movie (Basic Instinct!). Oh, Janelle. Lucky she was wearing white that day...! ha,ha,ha! That girl knows how to work a cmarea, that's for sure!

Have you noticed all the crazy textures on the walls in the Big Brother house? Cara tells me it's so the Contestants won't go mad... might be a bit too late for poor wee (well, some bits are 'wee') April -- did you see the scribbled 00 in her 100 answer in the HOH Competition?? Funny. But she won, so funny, yet effective! ha,ha! Now the Big Question is 'who will April put up on the Chopping Block?' I'm thinking Howie and Janelle, with a 'Backdoor Plan' for James. We'll see, tonight. Maybe there's someone else she secretly hates! Who knows...

Are you going to pop into CBS.com to vote on which House Guest should recieve a message from Home? My guess is that Howie will win, because he wants to talk to his Mom, and who doesn't think that's extra-sweet? And then we can tame 'Hurricane Howie' for a few more days! (That can't be good to refer to yourself as an entire Weather System, now can it?? ha,ha! It's all very entertaining, though, ain't it??)

Better go -- Dwight wants to do some work around the house... perhaps putting bits of material on the walls so we don't all go mad -- too late!

Ivette called her 'a miserabe old hag..' -- whaaaa? Rachel's 33, so how old does that make Ivette, me wonders? Hmmm. One of the Great Mysteries of the World, or just a passing irritation?? ha,ha!

Speaking of 'passing irritations', that whole thing where 'The Friendship' (ugh) puts up a shrine to 'Cappy' (Eric, who was booted out early in the game...) every time they win the HOH room... little over-the-top for me. Of course, I'm very bad for not ever putting up any pictures of people I really do love -- it just seems unnecessary to me. I find I can remember what they look like without the aid of a series of pictures... plus, Dwight won't allow old boyfriend's pictures in the bedroom. ha,ha,ha,ha! (Okay, that one's just for my own personal amusement!)

Anyway, so now Beau's put up Rachel and Howie on the Chopping Block. James won the Veto, again, and didn't use it to remove either Rachel or Howie, so we'll see who goes, tonight. I can't say I like James very much, because he seems a bit whiney, but he is a great competitor -- it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here...

Sorry I didn't get in here, yesterday -- I was up at an Open Audition for Extras for this new Brad Pitt Movie they're filiming up here in Alberta... we'll do anything to be in a Movie or on TV! ha,ha! Speaking of that, I think I might be right that more than three of the Big Brother Viewers imagine themselves on the Big Brother Set, and would perhaps like to have a tiny bit of the 'Hollywood Pie' -- who wouldn't? Okay, I know a few people who wouldn't want to be any part of Hollywood, but frankly, they're duller than dirt, and probably wouldn't Film well, anyway... (ugh, I've broken Agreement # 1 of The Four Agreements, and I've been writing for about 30 seconds... must read book, again!) http://www.filmstaff.com/browsejob -- pop in to see their huge list of jobs -- and my Site is on their Links Page under Moving & Housing Solutions. Ding, Dong, the Witch is Dead... catchy little tune, ain't it? Hard not to sing that when ol' Jennifer was voted out on Saturday night! Yahoo! So you say lying doesn't work, hmmm? Whodda thunk that?? You know what my favorite part of that was? How Howie was very attracted to Jenn when he thought she was nice, but as soon as he saw how deceitful she was, the attraction stopped short. Which makes me wonder, "Can you be attracted to someone horrible, when you really know their personality, even if they're good looking?" Maybe for a few minutes, but it couldn't last long -- not too long, anyway...! ha,ha,ha!

Oh, and speaking of people who Look Good, I'm thinking that Janelle will be invited to more than a few Hockey Games, this year (yippee, Hockey's back!!), given how she looked in her Jeans and Hockey Shirt. So now the NHL and Playboy will have to vie for her attentions ... ha,ha,ha! I loved that James, who has shown himself to be trustworthy for about, oh, 10 seconds, was trying to convince Janelle to take out Maggie. For some reason, though, Janie didn't listen to James's's's little plan, and Janelle, after winning the Power of Veto, saved Maggie from the chopping block. Oooh, shock of shocks!

April has got to be one of the most entertaining people in the house, just for the crazy stuff she says, and where she says it... hiding with Jennifer behind the chairs in the Living Room -- oooh, good idea. Whisper, whisper, whisper... best line, yet; April: "She's in it for herself!" Whaaaa? Say it ain't so, a Player who wants to Win the Prize!

So Janelle chose to evict -- oops, Freudian Slip, right there -- nominate Ivette right after she 'saved' Maggie. Now Maggie doesn't know what to think... oh, and what's up with that creepy relationship between James and Ivette? Ick. Did you happen to notice that Sarah's Scarf is getting lower and lower on his 'level of need' to be near her? ha,ha! It'll be fun to see how long it lasts, at all.

Finally, Beau gets to get into the HOH Bedroom... hard to say who he will put up for possible eviction. Definitely Janelle, since they had that screaming fight, and maybe Howie, but Beau and Howie have been flirting, so you never know, there... Hey, just realized that the 'HOH' Bedroom, if you don't say it as an acronym 'H. O. H.', it would be pronounced like 'ho. Like if you were, say, driving through Idaho, and someone said, "Who 'da 'ho?", and then you could say, "Idaho"... ah, it's an old joke, but we have fun saying it over and over and over again whenever we happen to be driving through Idaho -- hope they don't mind! (And for the record, it's a beautiful State -- perfect for driving through!)

Okay, better go. Maybe have a nap, or something equally good!

Friday, August 19th, 2005. Man, do you hate little Jennifer, yet?? What is with that girl?? "I didn't lie, I just didn't keep my Word...". What a Big Surprise that her little scheme didn't go over very well with the other members of the house, no? I take back what I said about her doing a Dance Video -- now I don't care whether she can dance -- too sneaky and underhanded for my taste.

Now what was that big fight between April and Howie all about? It's starting to get a bit dirty in the house! (Yahoo, we always enjoy a good fight! ha,ha,ha!) We can all see that April is intensely annoying (hmmm, wonder if that's how the friendship between April & Jennifer became so solid...!), but now Howie's looking like a nut, and we don't want that. Think I see why Rachel never pursued that Relationship! But did you sense a 'special connection' between Rachel and Kaysar? Man, they'd have smart, cute little kids, wouldn't they?? ha,ha,ha!

Is there a steady flow of Alcohol in the house, now? Ol' Janelle seemed to be a teensy bit plastered, which made for excellent TV with the Giant Fight with Beau ... how many fights are we averaging, now, per night?? Oh, that's quality TV, all right -- our very favorite kind! Nothing like a good 'high-brow' show to keep you amused in the summer!

Thank God (is He really watching Big Brother? He's like the Original 'Big Brother', no??) Janelle won the HOH for the next couple of days. I loved Howie and Janelle's very positive whooping with delight when they found out that she got to nominate two people for possible eviction, so now Jennifer and Maggie are up on the Block. Jenny on the Block, I think they'll call her. And did you love when Janelle sang a wee tune, "Bye, Bye, Bee-otches...!". Catchy phrase. Wonder if it'll catch on?! (See how I cleaned that up for our more sensitive Readers? Wasn't that lovely of me? I'm all about the 'comfort of the Reader'!)

So a Double Eviction Week -- I think this'll be a fun one! We love a little controversy! Oh, and given Janelle's lovely outfits, I'm thinking she might find herself with a message on her phone when she gets home -- a wee message of opportunity from Playboy! ha,ha,ha!

Sunday, August 14th, 2005. Day 41 in da Big Brother House (according to Cara -- I didn't know that!) So, we get to see 'the other side of Jennifer' -- and here I thought there was just the one side... man, talk about deceitful wee things. Crying and winking about the tears in the HOH Competition, and swearing to Kaysar that she'd put at least one person from her Team up on the Block. Hmmm. She's not hard to see through, so I'm sure Kaysar had another plan when he made that agreement with her. It's sooo nice to see Kaysar back in the house, since then, fer sures, there's someone thinking in the house -- now Rachel won't feel so lonely!

12 hours with your finger on the button -- that would hurt, wouldn't it? But I loved Beau's Drinkin' Party for One. Hilarious! Good to show how much people can change under the power of alcohol -- made me feel instantly sorry for all the Designated Drivers, who put themselves through that just to keep their Friends safe! Oooh, that reminds me -- I found a good place to get those Personal Breathalizers (You can test your level of alcohol to make sure you never drink & drive... especially over the limit), which I think are a great idea for anyone in or around the Drinking Age... and I scored a deal for my Readers, so remember to use the Coupon Code, AILSA, (yes, that's my name!) to get your Discount.

And speaking of Beau, did you love all the 'peeking' when poor ol' Beau was in the Shower? Think Big Brother just upped his Dating Card for the rest of his life! ha,ha,ha! But April going back time after time (What?? Married April...??) for more looks (probably re-thinking those Marriage Vows...!) -- now that was funny! And Jennifer relying on Brainy April as her 'Special Advisor' -- now you know that can't be good...

Oh, Maggie. Angry little Maggie. Here, she finally let go of her button in the HOH Competition so she could, at the very least, score a good Prize ... only to open her box and fine Rotten Eggs. That answers the question of 'Who's the Rotten Egg?', though, don't it? (That's my 5 Year Old's favorite phrase -- lucky us!)

I really hope they can figure out a way to get James out of the house, now. What a Misery he's become. Smelling Sarah's Scraf, like he didn't just diss her on camera the week before... puhleeease! Can't stand him, any more. (I'm sure these are all lovely people outside of the Big Brother House, but you can't help but be drawn in to certain 'Personality Flaws' while you're watching, right?).

The only upside of Jennifer Nominating Rachel and Janelle to go on the Chopping Block is that Rachel and Janelle are both really strong Players, so hopefully one of them will win the Veto, and be able to put James up, and then he won't be able to sqeak out of it. Fingers-crossed!

Okay, gotta go make Breakfast for my little family. And I'm thinking I might make a Pecan Pie, today, too. Yum. Have I mentioned that I want to Single-Handedly bring back Home-Baked Pie into the American Home? Yep. I want to be 'Pie Girl', and show people how to make an easy pie on all the Talk Shows -- think that'll happen for me?? I'll have to really keep my fingers crossed for that one! ha,ha,ha!

Saturday Morning, Aug. 13th, 2005. Yahoo!! Kaysar is Back! Thanks, America (and parts of Canada, too, since we were actually able to Vote -- often these things are closed off for Canadians, so that was nice to be included!). 82% of the Vote -- now that's really saying something! It's fantastic that we're all getting to know what a real, live Iraqi Guy is like -- that can only be good... And it seems I'm not the only one who thinks Kaysar is extremely good looking -- did you see all the Girls swarming around him when he came back in the house?? "Oooh, Kaysar, you look sooo good!" (drool, drool -- and Janelle was so excited, she just about lost her pants, which, I imagine, would be a good thing for the Ratings!) ha,ha,ha! And over 5 million votes -- that's a very good sign, too... I just need a fifth of all those Big Brother Fans to pop in here to have a wee read!

Hey, you know what I was wondering? What do they do when they are in sequester? If there's the possiblilty of coming back into the house, they wouldn't be able to have any outside contact, 'cause someone could slip and tell them a wee bit of useful information, right? And what happens with Sarah (Voted Out this wee with a 6 : 1 vote), who doesn't really strike me as a Reader... how will she bide her time? I might be waaay off on my take on Sarah, though -- she's probably secretly reading 'The Art of War', getting ready for when James comes out! ha,ha,ha! But you can imagine them playing al sorts of solitary games, like Tennis off a Wall, all by themselves, Solitaire, alone in their room, Video Games for one... sounds fun! "Introspection, how can I avoid ye", Sarah says... (Yes, I've given her a Scottish Accent, just for my own personal amusement! ha,ha!)

So now they're really in a Pressure Cooker of a game -- sorry, that couldn't be avoided...! Their wee fingers on the button, trying to avoid all the anoying Flies -- wonder who's paranoid about bugs and germs?? Pretty cool that they each have to open a 'Secret Box' each time someone takes their finger off the button. My favorite bit, though, was when Julie Chen says over the 'Big Brother Voice-In', that they can't go for Bathroom Breaks...no kidding... but there'a competition I'd lose in a real bloody hurry, since I'm always off to the bathroom, and I'd need a cup of tea in no time at all! (That probably explains all the bathroom trips... whatever...) Hey, I just realized that there aren't any Mothers (in the Old sense of the word -- in the Sopranos version, there are a few...!), so those girls should all be fine!

Tuesday, August 9th, 2005. Can you believe James won the Power of Veto, yet again?? Man, you'd think 'The Friendship' could have used their combined brain to figure out how to get 20 sweeties into his Pinata -- you call it pinata, I call it "effigy"... they shouldda had a big bonfire, Scottish-Style, after the pinata game! And who could have guessed that James would save himself? Poor wee angry Sarah...she seems to have a wee bit of a mean streak, did you notice? Ooooh, a little venomous ... wonder if James is thinking what will happen to him if he ever leaves her...

I loved the Tye-Dye Shirts -- I made them with my Grade Five Class (when I was in Grade Five, not just teaching Grade Five...), and it's a fun little project. Howie's was the funniest, with his pledge of Support for Kaysar, "Vote for Kaysar... Bring Back the King & his Hookah". Ha,ha,ha! Howie's moving up to be one of my favorites, because he's so funny, and I like that in a person. Beau had the best looking shirt, with the Flames all over it (seemed appropriate) -- it was for Eric, so I think it said, "Firemen are Hotter", or something to that effect... and Janelle pretty much had to put Michael's name on her Shirt, since that really wouldda made the first Dinner with Michael, Janelle and Kaysar after the game slightly uncomfortable, if Janelle had thrown her support over to Kaysar ...

I think I smell a problem in 'The Friendship Circle'... little April (well, some parts are little... are other parts purchased? Hard to tell...) is starting to really get on Ivette's nerves, and it seems like it's mutual. Ivette isn't just livid, she's "li-vid!". That's a lot of 'girl anger' in the house. And that's why when I went to University, I stayed off-campus, 'cause I can't be bothered with girl fighting. Much easier to live alone... unless there's a possibility of winning a Million Dollars, in which case it would totally be okay! ha,ha!

So James won the Veto and saved himself, leaving Ol' Sarah on the Chopping Block, then Howie put up Ivette. That's not at all what I thought was going to happen -- I was sure James and Sarah would have worked with Howie (instead of pitting themselves against pretty much everybody -- now there's a great strategy!) to win the Veto then put Maggie up, just in case Eric comes back... ah, well. that's the fun part of the Show, not knowing exactly how mad they'll all get at each other! Just wait 'til Sarah gets to watch James dissing her in earlier episodes, before he made the sappier-than-crap tye-dye shirt -- "I just want Sarah" (in brackets, "but not more than myself..."!).

Sunday, August 7th, 2005. So, have you voted, yet? I just popped into the CBS Big Brother Site to cast my Vote for Kaysar, my favorite guy in the Big Brother House. I've left him at the top of my list of Players I like the Best, since, with any luck, he might get back in this week... you have until August 10th to cast your vote, so I've added the direct link at the bottom of this update to make it easier for you to vote for Kaysar... or whichever one you like the best! ha,ha!

Now what happens when the Pairs that come in as friends start to really dislike one another (or maybe just one dislikes the other...) during the course of the Game?? It sure looks like Rachel has had enough of Howie, with his ever-so-slight inability to keep anything under his hat... they looked and sounded like an ol' married couple (guess how I know that?? ha,ha!) when Howie was telling Rachel all the stoopid things he had promised to everyone on 'the opposite team'. I thought it was odd that Howie would take the chance of breaking their own alliance instead of joining with 'The Friendship' (sounds vaguely like a cult, no??). Hmmm. If Kaysar comes back, he won't be happy with that decision...

Poor Sarah -- she never sees anything coming... I'm sure being put up on the Chopping Block was the last thing she thought would happen to her, this week. But, since Howie put both Sarah and James up, and it seems that Sarah is more of a pawn than anything, I'm thinking that Howie's 'Big Plan' is for James to win the Veto (like he always does!), get himself off and put up Maggie. Then the 'Alliance' can all vote out Maggie before there's an opportunity for Maggie to wiggle out of it. What do you think?? Seems like a partially do-able plan...

The Food Game looked tasty -- all sorts of lovely Pastries and full-on cakes coming quickly down a conveyer belt, a la 'I Love Lucy' in the Chocolate Factory Episode... They called it "Big Brother's Bakery -- The Conveyer Belch'. Oh, very clever... and Janelle chose to join 'The Friendship' Team, since she already had the PB & J Pass, so she sneakily just pretended to eat all the pastries by smushing them in her face... she's a smart one, all right. Smart with Long Legs -- that's a good combo! Wonder why Ivette hates her so much? Anyway, 'The Friendship' (Maggie, Beau, Ivette, April & Jennifer) lost the Game, so they'll be dining on PB & J all week, and not one of them noticed Janelle's wee trick...

Hey, what's up with the people who keep biting their nails? Ugh. Seems like every time the camera pans over to April, she's either smoking or biting her nails. Or getting people to 'touch her tail'... gives new meaning to 'getting a piece of tail', I suppose. Remember they did a whole thing on that in the movie, Shallow Hal? Funny. Not the sort of thing you would normally advertise -- wouldn't that look terrible on a Dating Website? "Looking for a Nice Piece of Tail? Well, I have one... Signed, April."

Saturday Morning, August 6th, 2005. Hello, hello! Totally ran out of time, yesterday, so had to get up relatively early to write a quickie Big Brother Update. Impossible for me to write 'Big Brother' without thinking of George Orwell's Big Brother. I remember how panicked I was when it actually turned 1984 -- I was sure that everything Orwell had projected onto the future was surely going to happen ... much like the impending doom of the Turn of the Millenium -- remember that?? ha,ha! Ah, well. On with the 'real' Big Brother...

Sooo, we can Vote to put one of the Housemates back in the Game, can we?? I love Kaysar, and not just because I find him very attractive -- he's smart, too, and I like that in a person... the Three you can Vote to 're-install' are Michael, Kaysar and Eric. Ashlea, in all her wisdom, left the sequestered area (which I would imagine was very, very nice...), so she's out. Must have been something really important to pass on the Million Bucks!

Back to Regular Programming: Did you love the 'Sit Down', Sopranos-Style, between Maggie and Kaysar?? "You get your Team to do this, and I'll get my Team to do that..." Funny they've separated themselves into 'Teams'. You know what I can't wait for? A 'Throw Down' between Ivette and Maggie, over who loves Eric the mostest. "Oh, Cappy, My Cappy".. sob, sob..). Now what's that all about with Ivette? It's only a matter of time before that drives Maggie craaazy and they have a 'girl-fight'.. and won't that make for good TV?? ha,ha,ha!

Poor wee Sarah needs a boost in her ego ("Oh, James. You don't have a smart girlfriend." And she was talking about herself that way -- man, she needs to read The Four Agreements to feel so-much-better about herself!) And that loving exchange between Sarah & James -- Sarah: "I Love You, James". James: "Yeah, whatever..." . That's a sign right there that it may not be as reciprocal as one might want in a Marriage, with kids and and the husband as the Little League Coach -- the same future husband who hates Baseball...! Oh, those tricky little pipe dreams -- they can really screw you up! ha,ha,ha!

Oh, hey. You know how there's a 49 cent (would have been an infringment if it had been 'Fiddy Cent'!) 'fee' to Text Message to Vote an 'old guy' back into the House? Well, why don't they add another 10 cents, and give the money to Charity? What a great way to make massive amounts of money with any Popular TV Phone-in Voting Show, like Big Brother, or American Idol... and I think Survivor had a phone-in thing at one point, too. Who knows a TV Exec. who could put that through, I wonder?? ha,ha!

So Howie is the New HOH -- I loved his 'Latch-key Kid' look with the key around his neck ... and he looks good in Kaysar's old T-Shirt, "Department of Redundancy Department'. Very clever, very clever! I like Howie a lot, so we'll see how even-handed (with the Ladies and perhaps Beau...) he is over the next Week... should be very entertaining!

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005. Lucky, lucky James ... his wee Girlfriend, Sarah, won the Veto for him, so he's off the Chopping Block, and Maggie (this weeks HOH) cleverly put Janelle up on the Block alongside Kaysar. Good thing it's nothing personal! ha,ha!

What's up with some of the seething anger in da House? That seems a bit out of whack, what with it bein' a GAME 'n all... Ivette with her ,"James has died to me.." tirade, and Beau talking about 'the evil ones' in the house... come on now, they're all trying to win a few bucks, ain't they??

I loved April's Birthday Party, though -- especially the Birthday Card from her husband, who apparently loves her very, very much... you could tell by the way he signed the card, "Sincere Regards, Your Husband & Dog"... you'll recognize those poetic words from the many, many Love Letters you've ever received, or perhaps from the bottom of a letter from the Bank... whichevah'! ha,ha,ha!

I loved when the 'girls' won the Movie Pass for The Four Brothers (what a great Advertisement for that movie!), and had armfuls and armfuls of candies -- that's what I would do, too, I'm sure, if I'd been deprived of sweeties for, oh, more than a day or so...

I better get going -- we're having a Dinner Party, tonight, so I have to get the Steak Pie ready ... wonder why Ivette seems to be one of the few cooks in the house? That's gotta be a saving grace for her, since who ever wants to get rid of the chef??

Sunday, July 31st, 2005. Hey, you know how I was saying it's getting more and more difficult to believe that old Ivette was once a Teacher? Well, I think I've figured out what Course she might have taught -- or been the 'Assistant Prof' ... "How to Be a Follower: A Step by Step Approach". Maybe after her Big Brother 6 experience, she'll convert it into a Book and make millions! ha,ha,ha! Ah, Ivette. Her heart's in the right place -- she has big plans to buy 'Cappie' (sounds like one of those annoying hats that cover one eye suspiciously...) a BMW, or some other lovely Luxury Car, and she says she wants to pay for Maggie's House Renovation... hmmmmm. If she won the Million, then paid the requisite taxes, that'd leave her with, oh, only a few hundred thousand dollars to invest in her whole future. Sounds like a lot until you try to buy a House!

And James... he really perceives himself to be brilliant beyond belief, and in that brilliance, can clearly see how pretty, but kinda stoopid, she might be... now that doesn't sound like a very good basis for a Loving, Committed Relationship, does it?? Maybe he can go and Sarah can find herself someone nice and new, who thinks she's juuuust right... I loved when he went in to 'sweet-talk' Maggie, and said to her, "What I don't like about you..." Nobody can turn that beginning around to something positve... what was he thinking in that big ol' brain of his, I wonder? And then poor wee Sarah in to see 'The Circle of Eric Followers' all in bed together (literally! ha,ha!), to see if she couldn't help to save James from the Chopping Block. Won't she be mad when the Show's over??

Oh, in case you actually had somewhere to go on Saturday Night (no need to make me jealous, I'm just saying...!), Kaysar was able to open the Safe in the Gold Room, and it was full of Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches, which they were not too pleased to discover, until they found out that one of the sandwiches contained a Pass for the person who found it not to have to eat PB& J Sanwiches at all -- and guess who won that?? Everyone's Favorite Blonde, Janelle! Funny!

Beau is finally getting to see a little action in the house -- with Howie, an equal opportunity player... all very entertaining....

Well, we'll have to see what happens with Kaysar and James up for Elimination -- if James doesn't win the Veto, then I'm thinking James will be the next one out.... and then Maggie can get back to seeing life in her 'Black or White' kind of way, although she has just discovered that there can be a bit af a grey area when you're dealing with humans. Good to know! ha,ha!

Friday, July 29th, 2005. Maggie. Sweet, innocent, slightly vengeful Maggie... oh, it's always the one in the culottes who carries the biggest stick, ain't it?? ha,ha! (And, yes, I had to look up the spelling for 'culottes'..., and No, I don't own even one little pair of those... "Oh, Eric, I would give up $500K just to let you win..." (I know, I'm paraphrasing...) Maggie -- she loooooves him! And not just a 'friendly love', either, I'm thinking... what is she gonnado to shake things up to Honor Eric's name, I wonder?? So many people to hate, and so little time...

I loved Eric's line where he just couldn't believe that James won the Veto, and actually used it to take himself OFF the Chopping Block... oh he of little brain, methinks. And lots of Angry Brawn -- did you love the furious workout scene? Does that build muscle faster if you're steaming on the inside just as much as on the outside? ha,ha,ha! And here I use Weight Lifting to relax... to each his own, I suppose. Poor old Ivette -- it's getting more and more difficult to see her as a Teacher, which she claimed to be in the beginning -- maybe that little Angry Streak has something to do with her 'Change of Profession' -- what was it -- Teacher to Bar Maid? Now Teacher AND Bar Maid I get, since teachers aren't paid nearly enough...

I feel soooo sorry for April. 108 pounds all the way down to 102 pounds. Aaaahhh, poor thing. Wee waif. The Smokin' Waif, I think I'll call her. That was a good lie she told, though, when everyone was confessing the truth, then later blurting out that she'd been lying earlier... I hope the 6 pounds she lost weren't in her head, 'cause that wouldn't be good, at all.

Now what happens with Kaysar and Michael's Friendship if Kaysar were, perchance, to fall in love with Janelle, too? Hmmm... those leggy blondes can be quite a problem...

My guess is that Maggie will put Kaysar and Janelle up for Elimination, or Kaysar and James... we'll see, we'll see! Makes the summer nights fly by, don't it?? ha,ha!

Sunday, July 24th, 2005. Oh, Kaysar. Tricky Little Kaysar. Man, that guy is smart! Putting Maggie & James up on the Chopping Block (a lovely term, in & of itself! ha,ha!) in order to flush out their Partners in the Game. Ooooh, Mr. Trickster! My guess is that James will be the next one out, since Eric will go mad trying to get everyone to support his girl, Maggie (nee: Jan Brady!).

I have to say I was surprised the April isn't the Oldest Woman in the house -- Rachel (33) said she was. I would have guessed April (smoker girl) to be much closer to her Forties ... and have you noticed how many Smokers there are in the House? It's almost like a 50/50 demographic (wich is 75% of the population, according to Janelle's Math -- did you love her fancy display of math and spellin' skills at the "Will Spell 4 Food" Game?? ha,ha! Crap, and there goes her 'Smart Facade' in three little sentences -- not even full sentences. You can see how quickly them smarties can fall!) (Reminds me on Homer Simpson's very wise sing-song line, "I am so smart, S-M-R-T!" An oldie but a goodie!

Oh, you know what I really like in da House? The Big Round Table with the Lazy Susan (no, she's not another Character...) right in the middle. I think I want a Giant Round Table in my next house -- with an elimination section, so you could quickly and easily get rid of anyone in the house you can't be bothered with anymore -- that'd be waaay cheaper than Divorce, wouldn't it? ha,ha! (I kid, and yet, it seems a useful idea...!)

So Beau is really riding under the radar, except when he's crawling all over Kaysar, but that's mostly just amusing... the ones who fly under the radar in these Reality TV Games quite often win, though... could be a very wealthy Beau coming up... we'll see how Kaysar does, though, and Rachel. Interesting that Ivette didn't play the 'Gay Card' in order to keep herself safe -- that actually happened to me one year at this place where I worked. I was up against another woman for a Very Good Job, and she broke down in a meeting to say she was a BiSexual (a huuuuge announcement at the time -- it's fantastic now that it's just an incidental -- Thank God for that...)... anyway, longish story short, no one wants a Lawsuit, so she got the job. Funny on a variety of levels...! Ivette told April, though, to test her loyalty, so it'll be interesting to see how many people in the house know about Ivette by the next Show.

I love how Howie has moved into the 'Kaysar, Janelle & ... Howie' circle of trust, conveniently right after Micheal was given da boot. Oh, Howie -- he really likes Janelle, and maybe Kaysar, too... the twist they are a-turnin'!

Friday, July 22nd, 2005. Man, have you noticed I missed the last two Updates?? My stooopid computer had a virus in it that shut it down completely, so I had to have pretty much the whole thing changed -- Thanks James (not the James on Big Brother; our James who comes over and brilliantly fixes whatever's broken on the 'puter!)!

So much has been happening in the Big Brutha House... I love all the fighting -- the Summer Theme could be "Them's fightin' words..." ha,ha,ha! Good thing no one knows how to fashion a weapon out of a banana... and some people get soooo mad when you mention a certain tiny appendage -- good thing Neanderthat Ned ain't there -- he'd be in the background with his Club, muttering "Oooooh, that not good." (Don't forget to put your lips waaay out when you are getting ready to 'speak Neanderthal' for the full effect...!)

What's up with Eric's nasty little temper? And speaking of Eric, has anyone else noticed the similarities between Maggie (Eric's Partner) and Jan Brady?? Next time you're watching Big Brother, watch for the 'Hair Swing' -- you'll laugh and laugh, then cry a wee bit, then go take some Zoloft or something...my prefence is Lemon Gin, but you makes your won choices in life...!

I loved the bit where Janelle breaks up with her Boyfriend in New York after making out with Michael... you'd think she'd wait to see if he was going to be eliminated first, no?? ha,ha! Classy, though... Was it Jennifer who said, "I'm not a lesbian, but I'd like to keep Janelle around just to look at her..." Funny. Good Looking People are just plain fun to look at! ha,ha,ha!

Friday, July 15th, 2005. Yahoo! Kaysar got to stay and Ashlea got 'da boot'! I'm not sure why I didn't like her ... she seemed just a tad self-centered... always a lovely, charming trait! Eric won the new HOH position, but am I the only one who thinks he's a bit aggressive? It's hard to separate him from his job as a Fireman, though, so you feel like you should support him no-matter-what. Hmmm -- we'll have to see if he goes 'power-mad' as the HOH. 'Lights out at 11:30 pm' -- that can't be a good sign!

There were some great lines from last night's Show -- remember the little conversation between Sarah & James, who are secretly dating? Loooved it!

Sarah: "If I weren't here, would you be hitting on these other girls?"

James: "Did you see the other girls in here??"

And Ashlea's beautiful speech when she was 'cast out', talking about how she felt the night before she got 'da boot' --

Ashlea: "Frick it. If I'm goin' home, we might as well spend our time together..." (meaning Ashlea & Janelle...)

Good to remember that if you ever find yourself on TV, and you think you might be watched by, oh, millions of people, try to work in the word "frick' -- sooo lovely! ha,ha,ha! See ya', Baby! Ailsa

Wednesday, July 13th, 2005. So, did you catch Big Brother last night or tonight? Did you love the "What's Behind Door Number One?"... ooh, I love a hidden room! I wanted to put in a hidden door in a bookshelf (right out of Scooby Doo!), but Dwight wouldn't let us... would've been easy during the building stage. I'll save all my wee ideas like that for a house I build all by meself! Speaking of people who do things all by themselves, what was your take on Rachel (the HOH), solving the mystery all be herself, then presenting it like a gift to the others? Hmmm. Like a parent-child relationship...nothing to worry about there, 'cause most adults looove that sort of thing, especially in tight quarters...

Have you developed any 'likes & dislikes', yet? So far, I'm not too keen on the Nurse - I think her name is Maggie. Can't detect much of a sense of humor there, so that not good, as Neanderthal Ned would say... slowly... ya'ha,ha! You know what that question,"Why should I keep you in the house?" thing reminded me of? That intensely annoying question some employers ask in an Interview --"What are your worst Traits?" Stooopid question. Funny that neither of the Candidates could come up with any good answer,though, like, "I'm cheery and not at all a snag..." -- that might have worked!

Hey, Cara (my 17 year old daughter who is a giant fan of Big Brother, and who got me into it), said that a lot of people have lost weight when they were on the 'pb&j' week. (Peanut Butter & Jam Sandwiches all week, and nothing else, if you haven't seen the Show, yet.) Has anyone else tried that, I wonder? Hmmm.... bread and peanut butter -- doesn't seem very likely, but perhaps worth a try! And if there are no cameras on you, who's to know if you were to, let's say, have a pizza by mistake?? Well, if you try it and it works, drop me a line so we can all give it a shot!

July 8th, 2005. (Excerpt from my Update Page.) Did you happen to see that I put the Big Brother page on my site? Yep. Just added it, and Cara and I watched it last night. Dwight did, too, but he's huuugely inappropriate when anyone ever appears on camera in a Bathing Suit, so he has to be kept apart from 'the chilluns' when he's watching it. I don't think he realized there'd be any Bathing Suit Action on the Show, so now I think they might have a Brand New Viewer! And if you saw it, what did you think of the potential 'Shower Scenes'?? Ooooh, that's gotta be good for Ratings! So funny! Raises the old question of what really sells in Hollywood, don't it?? ha,ha!<Catch every second of Big Brother 6 live on SuperPass> I think I might just do the Follow up from the Big Brother Show -- I had asked Cara if she wanted to write it, but so far, no answer. Those teenagers -- they're too busy to answer...

What did you think of the two people Rachel (the first HOH -- Head of House), chose? Hmmm. I can see why the choice of the kinda ditzy girl, but to choose the one guy who is Iraqi... not good. Wonder why she would go down that path? He seems like a good guy, too, and what a great opportunity for the TV Audience to get to know a real person from Iraq -- an opportunity that might not exist in their regular day-to-day lives? Well, hopefully he'll get to stay so we can get to know him a whole lot beter -- and I want to know what's behind the wall -- ooooh, that's good suspense! ha,ha!
