Quickie Update: I moved to Los Angeles last year, and now we're just about at our First Year mark in L.A.! Looove it here -- so much to do all the time, and I adore the beaches. The shopping is everything you could ever hope for -- gorgeous dresses for under $20... man, it's like a dreamland down here! haha!

When we got back from yet another trip down to Los Angeles, and this time we scored an amazing Prom Dress for my daughter, Cara. She has just turned 18 (yippee!), and is Graduating in June, so the hunt was on for a beautiful and unique Prom Dress. Cara and I went straight down to the Garment District in L.A. (Olympic and Maple, if you're wondering where to start...). I takes a while to find what you want, but it is definitely worth the look. One thing that I found incredibly annoying was the whole "You show me what you want and I'll look at you, judge you, then tell you how much the dress will cost..." Yeah. Ugh, no. So we quickly waded through those stores, then found a great one in this little 'Outdoor Mall' thing that we found. I'll get a picture up on the site of Cara wearing her new dress, asap. And the shoes -- man, don't even get me started! Soooo gorgeous! (And, luckily, I scored some gorgeous shoes, too!)

Guess what I just discovered?? Steve Madden Shoes!! Man, I am sooo excited, because these are the most beautiful shoes I've ever seen. They're absolutely gorgeous! I tried some on this past weekend, and couldn't believe how stunningly beautiful they were. I didn't buy them at the Store in the Mall because the girl in the Shoe Store was sooo rude, but I couldn't stop thinking about them...

I quickly got online to see if I could find Steve Madden Shoes (my lovely daughter, Cara, knew the Designer's Name -- I generally don't know that much about stuff like that!). Wouldn't you know it? There they were, so I have to share this with you. The Sizes couldn't be more perfect, so no need to worry about whether the shoes will fit you when you Order Online.

Now, I couldn't find the particular pair of Pink Crystal Pumps that I had accidentaly fallen in love with online (although I will look for them for you!), and I was contemplating driving back into Calgary to see if the Shoes were still there (and hopefully not the mean girl...), but Cara called me to let me know she was already in Town, so I asked her to pop into the Shoe Store to Put the Shoes aside for me. Guess what my fabulous Daughter got for me?? The Pink Crystal Pumps!! Yippee! I loooove them! I'll get Cara to take a picture of me wearing them so you can see how lovely they are.

Can you guess that I love Frederick's of Hollywood?? ha,ha! They have an amazing selection of gorgeous Shoes and Dresses -- and quite a few other lovely wee things (emphasis on the 'wee'!). I got my favorite Black Thigh High Boots from Frederick's online, and they fit beautifully.
